I have trouble listening to British accents. They sound super cool, but half the stuff that people with British accents say just fly over my head, wonder if people feel that way about American accents?

yeah me too, i can't really pick up small details when they're talking but i definitely love listening to them

Nasal

Pretty much this

I used to live in England and my science teacher was from the US. He said things so nasally and when he pronounced Harry it sounded like Hairy. Because I was used to the British accent, American accents sounded so weird to me

When I moved to Canada, i didn't notice the accent as much and it took me a while to realize there was a difference between a Canadian accent and an American one

Don't think much of American accents but I do find it weird how you guys say "Waader" instead of "Water" and some other words. Really poshy British accent hurts my ears.

I'm from Australia.

How do you feel when we say Harry Potter?  :hurr: You probably wouldn't have liked being at the movie premiers over here.
