pizza 519
I've heard some people say it sounds like nails on chalk board. I mean come on it cant be that bad. what do you think about our accents? do you feel the same way how we feel about british accents, or does your ears bleed with every words you hear? also where are you from? WhaleWhisper 5,249
I'm also curious about this To me as an American, British people sound smart and sophisticated or uneducated and addicted to crack depending on what type of accent you have and Australian people sound adventurous. AsYouLikeIt 609
I have trouble listening to British accents. They sound super cool, but half the stuff that people with British accents say just fly over my head, wonder if people feel that way about American accents? stargazer 3,343
Nasal Pretty much this I used to live in England and my science teacher was from the US. He said things so nasally and when he pronounced Harry it sounded like Hairy. Because I was used to the British accent, American accents sounded so weird to me When I moved to Canada, i didn't notice the accent as much and it took me a while to realize there was a difference between a Canadian accent and an American one

Maybe? That probably sounds annoying to people, too, lol.
