Men in blacksuits are always attractive, it gives the most trustful and cool feeling. I always recommend my hubby to wear all black suit in any important event.

 

Btw i know its trendy but I feel it would make him taller if his pants are just a bit abit longer (maybe im too conservative kkk)

 

Hope he can start a new drama soon (movies are not enough for me), im craving to see his new images. he was about to film MLFTS by this time last year, right?

I wouldn't say blacksuits give me a very trusting and comfortable feeling, cool they may be, but they make me feel uncomfortable under strange circumstance.  However, tuxedos are cool and sexy, so KSH in that would be dazzling 

 

He needs a new drama if not now as soon as possible because I hear some women are getting fed up of seeing KSH in the same hairstyle in every advert and billboard as Do Min Joon-ssi.  Some even say that LMH are starting to look better than KSH only because he has different hairstyles in endorsements and he doesn't appear everywhere.

Yes its right, thats the negative side of the fame, hes expected to be proactive/active to produce another quality work soon enough to avoid the boring reappearance, esp when they are using his image too much.

 

For me, i can endure his current image right now cos I understand he might need to wait for the right script and guess he cant always do as he wants

 

@freaksworld: thats so true, and thats something he doesnt have 100% control on it, if the agency is sensitive enough, they should be aware of it and well planned in advance. Hes like the cash-cow for them now

If that's the case instead of his agency wanting to over-promote him in endorsements, then I can live with that.  I just hope it hurries, not many fans are as patient as you and, like me, who are desperate to see KSH on the small screen.

Lee Min Ho says he would possibly work with Kim Soo Hyun

Actor Lee Min Ho was asked by members of the Hong Kong media during promotions if he would ever work with actor Kim Soo Hyun, considering the two are seen as "rivals" in the industry.

Lee Min Ho responded to the question with this statement: "I don't think that actors put a lot of limitations when they choose a project. Since we're actors in our 20's, it's the time period where we should be working on the projects as passionately and fiercely as we can. If it's a good and charming project, I think it can become a good memory for me even if I work side by side with Kim Soo Hyun."

Currently, both Lee Min Ho and Kim Soo Hyun are two of the most popular actors in Asia. They both have large fan bases and commercial contracts, most notably in China. According to Korea.com, the two of them bring in close to "$2Millon per CF (commercial)." Kim Soo Hyun gained extreme popularity for his roles in The Moon that Embraces the Sun and My Love From Another Star, while Lee Min Ho rose to stardom through Boys Over Flowers and most recently Heirs. But should LMH really work along side KSH in the future?

Minoz will probably get mad right now, but if there are two actors Lee Min Ho should probably stay away from, it's Kim Soo Hyun and Joo Win. Sorry, but I have yet to see LMH show the acting range that those two possess. Put him in a drama with either one of those actors, and they will probably outshine him.

No to KSH x LMH working together; I have a feeling it would not turn out well (it just screams stunt casting and a money grab) plus I'm not here for the fan wars. Just because they are hallyu stars of similar age, does not mean that they are following the same path acting wise.

The fact that there'd be two Hallyu Kings and one would be the supporting actor, it would only end in tears.

Oh, I think it could work, actually. The publicity would be great, and they could build the characters so that none has the overall upper hand. If there is indeed rivalry, it could be used productively for creating tension in the story.

Have you frankly seen a Korean drama with two male leads? 'cause I definitely haven't.  Although not to say there aren't such drama, a Korean drama almost always have a male lead with a pitiful supporting actor.  If there is rivalry, the drama will only provoke a fan war.  The only scenario of which I can think without causing one-sided-ness is a good guy and a bad guy, both are protagonists who are telling the viewers from their side of the story.  Oh, and absolutely no romance with the same girl in whom they are interested.

 

I think it will either be great or terribad. It all depends on the motives of the producers and the script. If they are just doing it for the sales and publicity then the script may end up being an afterthought as they know that it will sell/do well due to their star power alone (e.g. The Heirs). But if a great script came a long and they both fit it then I'm all for it.

 

I would love to see KSH in crime thriller like Infernal Affairs (The Departed - the English remake with Leo DiCaprio, Matt Damon & Jack Nicholson). Him acting along side a veteran in either of the main roles would be great (I love both of the male lead roles but I think I would like him to play the model police officer who is secretly working with the bad guys). If he does work with LMH, then LMH would also be good in the other lead role.

 

However regardless of how great they both are in their roles, there will inevitably be fan wars - especially come award time.

I want to see KSH in anything but high school romance or just anything romantic.  KSH doing something like Jason Bourne would be amazing    As for the 7-facet chaebol, 2 or 3-personality is quite enough, KSH may either awe us with his acting skills or it'd be so bad it may turn comical, at least for me anyway.

And yes, i dont recommend the cooperation between these 2. Politely put, they are in different genres. Frankly speaking, till now LMH can only shine in idol type character to make use of his outlook. But he does have a strong fandom to defense his acting skill and even criticize KSH's one, so funny to read this kind of comment.

To me, ive watch BOF, city Hunter, the Heir (dropped at ep 19), Personal taste ( dropped somewhere at the ep10). I knew about LMH quite long ago, but I never hv had a fever that makes me google the name , go to the Fan pages, look at the soompi, onehallyu thread as the first thing to do everymorning and anytime when possible. I hv never been craving for his news, his pics, even his moves. It proves everything. I love KSM fornot only his talents but also his real person, he might not be perfect in real life but he give the sense of honesty.

Some comments talked about the voting result at SDA, rumours about the hacking votes from both LMH and KSH fans, LMH fans use it to negate the results. Anyone knows bout it?

I'm not as hardcore as some of you about following KSH's footsteps, but I am enthusiastic when it comes to his work and drama after 'The Moon'.  He has improved so much, he took risks with historical and, a while ago, acting as extraterrestrial, I think it's quite an achievement at somewhat an early stage into his career.  I want to know of his progress as he chooses his own projects (hopefully it's not KeyEast who's choosing for him) and I seriously hope that stardom hasn't boosted his ego too much.  He's still very humble, but if he were to receive a bad review on his next project, like someone on here said before, it could kill his confidence.

That I haven't seen it is precisely why it could be done -- it's an unplowed field, and having two actors of equal standing suggests it on ots own. And it's funny that a romance with the same girl is what I had in mind. The twist would be that none of them would "get her" at the end. Come to think of it, she should come out as a lesbian. Yeah. They couldn't even bring My Love From the Stars to its logical conclusion, but let me dream.

KSH is more mature in terms of acting, but then again I'm biased.  

If the director/producer/writer can make such a drama plausible (as in there is no one-sided-ness, no clear indications as to which guy is the better man), this drama will be a one-off success.  The fact remains, nevertheless, that none of the writers and producers are confident enough to pull this off.  As for actors, we should give KSH and LMH or any candidates who hold more or less the same reputation and capability a few more years of experience before deciding upon who to take up such challenging drama, if it ever exists.  For once, I don't want a romantic drama.  Korean soap is known for its melodrama, the far-fetched plot and very often soppy reasons; it needs a switch to a completely different genre.  One of the main reasons I don't watch as many is because of this typical high school or tall-dark-and-handsome-arrogant-childish-man-falls-in-love-with-penniless-damsel scenario.  Not only do I want to see thrillers, psychological suspense stuff, but I want the lead to not be the typical good-looking guy and maybe be someone average-looking, or ugly-looking, but still gain our sympathy and attention, whatever the director intends for us to feel through the protagonist's actions.  If KSH can do that, hats off to him.

 

Just curious, what did you have in mind as "logical conclusion" to 'The Stars'?

You can always sneak a peek at the posters whenever your hubby isn't around, I don't think it's infidelity    and yes, KSH's smile is infectuous!

Kill Me Heal Me production revealed that it's in discussion with a top hallyu star for the male lead. As this is a big China-Korea joint production it's obviously either KSH or LMH. But with this coming from the MTETS team, KSH is looking the most likely atm. It also has extensive shooting in the US and Europe; this fits into that reported schedule I posted a few months back - which included oppa shooting a project in the US and overseas for some time. So all signs point to him doing this drama.

There's hope  I can't tell you how happy to have read this

nothing has been confirmed yet but i think we will hear something by this month. a large part of it will be shot overseas apparently so they will need to start shooting very soon for a January/early 2015 premiere. this is going to be a BIG production so tons of promo across Asia will come from it; hopefully the drama is great and receives the same love and more as YWCFTS.

I guess that rules out Kill Me Heal Me; not really bothered that he's not doing that drama as I wasn't really a fan of it but I'm disappointed that we won't get to see him in acting any time soon  . But it's good to know that he is taking his time and being selective.

actually there's a ray of hope. re-reading the article it says "It is possible to see him in the movies early next year, if a movie contract is taken now. The same with drama"
