Vlinkage ranking April 2014

Kim Soo Hyun takes top spot again for the Vlinkage social medial ranking. He appears to be the only Korean in the top ten. Lee Min Ho takes the 11th spot.

Just to elaborate on how crazy the Kim Soo Hyun typhoon has been in Seoul. The Lotte in Myeongdong, Hana Bank and Beyond boutiques have been packed with crowds. Hana bank had a Kiim Soo Hyun museum as a shop front to lure crowds and it worked. ROFL.

Beyond is a label which can be bought in those general skincare shops like Olive and Young and Watsons but with the opening of the boutiques in Myeongdong, there has been new interest in that skincare label drawing people into the boutique. Lemona has been flying off the shelves and as I walk down Myeongdong, I can see his standees everywhere. ROFL. Tempted to carry one, I realised standees are heavy stuff….

The New Balance shoes that he wore in the drama, has brought the spotlight on the entire label. In the shoe marts in MyeongDong, there are designated staff for the New Balance section (previously we didnt have that) with walkie talkies to communicate with the storeroom to check for stocks. This way the staff can attend to the crowds there efficiently. Scary eh?

And something that you did not expect, that weird squirmy thing (개 불?) that Do Min Joon bought for Cheon Song Yi, in the fish markets in Busan and Seoul, the vendors are pushing it to the tourists asking them to try. ROFL with just mentioning the drama, most of them would just order one piece to try. SMART EH?

lol I swear the moments when he passes out after they kiss are my favourite. Especially when she has to then carry him  their chemistry together is just so amazing - I hope they do another movie together again; something like Mr & Mrs Smith would be awesome.

I forgot they kissed on the boat. I think they forgot their own logic sometimes. But I think he was meant to be affected if saliva was exchanged like when they kissed when she was hiding out in his house.

 

lol k-drama kisses are so funny, they are literally just twoo ppl lightly touching lips yet they sometimes make it seem so scandalous e.g. in Heirs. I actually liked their kisses in YWCFTS, especially the one at the premiere in the finale - it was sexy and full on for a kdrama.

Actually,I find Kim Tan kissing Eun Sang at the kitchen gross. Oh well,PSH doesn't even know how to kiss properly

LMH's lips turn me off, dunno why.  They're full and squishy, but not in a nice way.

 

Lolol.I think he is kinda hasty when it comes to kissing.it's like "okay,I will close my eyes and kiss like what they told me " .I mean I don't find any emotions when seeing his kissing scenes

ugh the kissing scenes is Heirs was the worst but I give credit to LMH for atleast trying. PSH just looked like a cardboard cut out a lot of the time; she literally just stood there with a blank expression on her face like a little child - in some scenes she looked like she was being sexually harrased/molested. But they way the kept repeating the kiss scenes + the music just made it worse and so cringey and lol.

 

That's why I liked YWCTS kisses; both of them atleast showed interest in what they were doing. Especially the last kiss which was

Maybe the difference is due to it being highschool vs. adult drama.

According to Asian culture, it's too ridiculous to have such a love for high school students from the beginning tbh.I mean we should just focus on studying lol

Yah,apparently KSH's fans are focusing on voting at the Baeksang awards lol.They have to spend more money than the other fnadomes since KSH is nominated in both of popularity categories. It's such a fierce battle between KSH fans vs Yoochun fans.They keep switching between 1st and 2nd place lol

Actually, in all honesty, his winning awards isn't important to me (obviously I hope he wins as many as he deserves) because the entire South East of Asia recognises him as the youngest actor to break whatever records there were to be broken, he is the hottest guy everywhere- evidence in pictures, billboards, TV endorsements, bakery shops, articles, magazines etc. No award can ever show what a huge achievement he made in his life, in the Korean entertainment industry- he is a legend.

I think his acting is realistic. It can be compared to some veteran actors.I can see why he is loved by everyone in korea. He isn't probably the most hansome actor ( yes, there are more better-looking ones than him),but he is very attractive and charming, which is more important to me .There's something making him different from the other actors to me. I can't help but love him lol
