It has been reported by Chinese and Korean media outlets that a young Chinese woman attempted to commit suicide recently while declaring her love for the 'You Who Came from the Stars' character Do Min Joon, portrayed by Kim Soo Hyun.

On August 20 in the city of Qiqihar, China, a young woman stood out on her windowsill on the 6th floor of her apartment building. She was in her nightgown and seemed to be behaving erratically, as she spent 10 minutes on the windowsill crying, laughing, and shouting loudly. At one point, she shouted, "Oppa," in Korean before continuing in Chinese, "I love you." She then shouted, "Do gyo-soo (Professor Do in Korean), I love you!"

 

Due to her use of Korean words and the 'You Who Came from the Stars' craze that swept through China, it's very possible that she is referring to the character Do Min Joon, who works as a college professor in the drama.

 

According to rumors, right when the woman was about to jump off the building, a fireman was able to reach her in time and grab her arm. Had she succeeded in jumping, there was a cushion prepared at the bottom of the building to catch her fall.

 

Residents in the apartment complex have expressed alarm, saying that before this incident, the woman seemed mentally stable and was a bright young individual. Sounds like the girl is going through some rough times, and wishes for a certain alien to be her hero and come save the day.

I'm sure Keyeast takes a big cut as he signed his contract before METS/SG/YWCFTS. seems like he wants to earn now before he goes to the army which is smart tbh.

 

Anyways whatever he is doing wont come out till next year. I want him to do a movie and drama like last year when he had SG then YWCFTS.

Hi all, i just found ur thread when googling everything about KSH ( im older than him, cant call him oppa tho). Thanks for updating the news and pics about him. I've been posessed by this boy recently after watching YWCFS, really admire his character and abilities. Altho he is younger than me, I can learn alot from him. The METS team are about to start a new big budget drama for MBC called Kill Me Heal Me; it's about a chaeobal heir with multiple personality disorder (he has 7 personalities) and the rookie psychiatrist who is treating him. obviously they fall in love. his family has some dark secret etc. etc. it's meant to premiere in January 2015 so would kind of fit in with what we were expecting in regards to KSH schedule.

Do you guys think it's the project KSH mentioned at the Yili secret event yday? It sounds kind of interesting but I can see it going wrong. I'm not sure how I feel about it; I wanted him to do like a crime thriller drama. I can see Kill Me Heal ending up so cliche and cheesy to quickly; but the multiple personality part is intriguing and I would be all for it if they turned it into a thriller e.g. one of his personalities is a murderer etc.  so the drama esentially becomes a mind games type of deal.

About to ask u about this event, thanks. my boy really has a tight schedule, but he looks chubby now. He was skinny with sharp face in the first few episodes of YWCFTS, then gained some weights in the later episodes. He seems to be pretty skinny when filming and gain weight easily when having no project, maybe have more time to sleep?

 

Im also curious about his height, I tried to compare his height with his co-star in YWCFTS, most of them are taller. But when comparing with the female lead, she is 1.72m i believe and her heels are at least 12 to 15cm, why he is still taller than her? He wears something?

idk but he's 1m81 .The others in Stars are abnormally tall lol

Im going thru the thread from page 1 (google led me here starting by page 31) and really amazed with the news/updates you all Owl, Eggy, Prima...have gathered. THANKS alot for keeping the thread active and giving me what im craving for. I started to watch the Star at begining of July. Since then, looking for news, vids, updates about him has been the first thing I do to start my day (and stayed up late to watch The Stars and his other dramas at night). Its abit annoying that I cant tell anyone about it.

 

@eggy, @owl, @prima: im impressed about your news, where do u get the sources? Seem to be the most updated. Do u know Korean, Chinese .....? AMAZING. Im sorry for not being able to contribute actively but I can always share the love to our boy

I never contributed, I only chipped in and spazzed so much so that you mistook me for a contributor like you, I'm just glad this thread is still alive and kicking!  It would be a great shame to let KSH down with the quiet, so I thank you on behalf of KSH stans that you're always here to talk about oppa.  I honestly don't know how the others managed to get info on KSH, the only source I rely on is Soompi lol
