So all the drama's that he was rumoured to be considering have all be casted now. Kill Me Heal Me did have Lee Seunggi as lead but now Ji Sung is in talks. Blood went to Ahn Jae Hyun. There's just Doctor Frankenstein left to confirm it's casting but it's looking less likely that he will be in that.

Actor Kim Soo Hyun was chosen by netizens as the number 1 advertising model for November.

On Dec. 5, the Advertising Association of Korea disclosed that Kim Soo Hyun has been ranked as the number 1 advertising model for November by the netizens.

The poll was organized and conducted by the Korea Federation of Advertising through the website for the whole month of November.

Kim Soo Hyun ranked as number 1 with 68,621 votes while actor Lee Min HO ranked second with 31,336 votes.

Kim Soo Hyun is currently working as a model for a variety of fields such as fashion, banks, department stores, food and cosmetics.

Kim Soo Hyun, who has been receiving a lot of love from overseas, not only domestically, has a clean and sophisticated image in harmony with the products' characteristics.

On the other hand, being chosen as the Model of the Month, gives him the chance to be automatically nominated as Korea's Model of the Year which is held every November.

Kim Soo Hyun will not appear in any work this year and hopes for a new work next year.

Talks about the appearance of actor Kim Soo Hyun (26) in "Dr. Frankenstein" did not succeed.

A representative from the office of Keyeast, the agency of Kim Soo Hyun told Nikkan sports on Dec. 5 that "It has been more than a month, the talks about his appearance in Dr. Frankenstein has ended."

Earlier, Kim Soo Hyun has been eyeing "Dr. Frankenstein" as his subsequent work after "You who came from the stars". However, talks about his appearance eventually misfired, and they are now turning to other works.

"Dr. Frankenstein" deals with the fictional story of a man with multiple personalities who had excellent skills as a doctor. He is a cold blooded man, who doesn't reveal his emotions easily. He slowly changes after meeting the woman he loves. It will be among the medical related dramas to be shown early next year which gained high interest in the possible appearance of Kim soo Hyun. It was written by Kim Tae Hee, whose work included the "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" and produced by Raemong Raein. 

After playing the role of Do Min Joon in the SBS drama "You who came from the Stars", Kim Soo Hyun has been absent from work activities for more than a year. The drama which ended in February, early this year, boasted a huge popularity in China, enough even to shake the whole of Asia. After the drama was over, he had various pictorials and advertising shoots, spending time going back and forth between Korea and overseas for the advertisements.

In the drama, Kim Soo Hyun completed the "Do Min Joon" look by adding a double breasted coat of classic design to a gray turtleneck that was specifically tailored to the context of winter and finishing it off with a backpack, to maximize the mysterious monotone fashion. The turned up collar of the coat lapel is an added feature to the chic atmosphere. In addition to the sneakers, there was also the herringbone coat in gray tone to produce the modern look.

Kim talks about popularity in China

Hallyu actor Kim Soo-hyun attributed “fan’s love and lucky choices of drama†for his immense popularity among Chinese female viewers.

 

During an interview with a Chinese media outlet on Friday, the 27-year-old Korean heartthrob said that he did not have any special “weapons†to win the hearts of the Chinese women.

“I am not sure about the personal secrets (of gaining popularity,) but this year I was lucky to act in a good drama, not to mention that so many (Chinese women) supported the drama and my character,†Kim said. “I had a happy, pleasing year overall.†

 

Kim also commented about his way of relieving stress.

 

“Whenever I have the time, I like to move and work out a good sweat,†the actor said. He picked bowling, badminton and skiing as his favorite leisure sports.

When asked about how he feels about living the life of a top star, Kim emphasized that most of his personal life is not too different from any ordinary young man of his age.

 

“Many people are curious about the celebrities’ lives and fantasize about posing before cameras and walking in the flashlights. But the truth is, their lives are not that different from the lives of the ordinary people. 

 

“We all live in the ordinary, daily routines of life, don’t we?â€

 

While Kim did not specify the plans about his next drama, he said he is carefully looking into his options. 

 

The Korean heartthrob said he has his fingers crossed for the next work, hoping for an excellent drama like his latest hit rom-com “My Love from the Star.†
