Are people allowed to take photos of celebrity passports?

I was scrolling through twitter and came across this tweet:


 



 


It looks like it's some worker who took the pic seeing as how they are holding a boarding pass/ticket as well


 


Isn't that against some law or something?


 


I've seen other other idol passport pics as well...what an invasion of privacy 


 


Or is this not a big deal?

they either work at sm or have connections to an sm worker, or work at an airport / government place or know someone who has conenections

But isn't it against some rule to take pics of someone's passport?

Depends on the country I'm sure, but where I live you aren't allowed to copy someone's ID, or even take down the ID #. ID info can only be collected if first disclosed by the retailer/company/whatever, and then only the absolute minimum amount of info should be taken to ensure the person's privacy of information.
