I was thinking about getting another BA degree but now I don't know anymore and I feel hopeless.___. Currently I just feel like Andy from Parks and Recreation.: To older users: what's your MA major? Zenith 289 Posted June 24, 2017 Share Posted June 24, 2017 If you're having trouble deciding, maybe do a pros/cons list for the fields that you're interested in. Things like quality/cost (especially if going in US) of the programs at schools you think you may attend, research areas of professors you might want to be advised by, ease of placement after graduation, pay of jobs, etc. It may help you to decide. Also, if you're thinking of switching to a completely different field, take into account that it may be slightly more work or a bit more difficult for you - but still doable! Keep in mind, a leap year is also acceptable and it will give you time to think/work/travel/take courses/gain some experiences. I never really had to think about it...I did a BS in mech. engr. and I knew I wanted at least an MS. For me, school location/size and reputation of the university probably play the biggest part.
