Is anyone here Moroccan, or has traveled to Morocco?

So I'm planning a week long vacation because I need to get away from NY for my own mental health and sanity otherwise I'll go completely insane. Been under a lot of stress and anxiety lately most of which is work related.

Anyways Morocco has always been one of my must go to places, I've been looking online and I found some really good deal on vacation packages. The price doesn't  really matter since I work in a franchise hotel and I have a really good employee discount so I'm not worried about that.

How is the country? How's the culture, customs and traditions? How are the people? What's the weather like lets say at the beginning of September?

Any must go to places? I wanna go to Fez ,Rabat, Marrakesh and Casablanca

Looking for general travel recommendations

Idk what it is but there's something very mesmerizing about it to me. Maybe its the ancient history. maybe its the decor and architecture

For me it's definitely the ancient history and I love learning about different North African tribes. My favorite tribe is the Ouled Nail (they are Algerian though). I know someday I will visit Marrakesh lol!

I found a 8 day trip where the total cost of air fare, hotel accommodations, transportation from place to place and all tours is only $1,400.That's very very cheap for an 8 day trip.

I have been to all these cities, I would say Marakesh is a beautiful place but if you are not accustomed to a lot of heat this place would be hard to visit as it's really hot and I don't think I do justice with my words enough, but it's something you should be warned before rathe than an advice not to go because Marrakesh is truly beautiful.

if you really wanna discover the culture, Fez is the place to go, it's really culturally rich and interesting.

Morrocan here, all the cities are very beautiful, one makes you forget the other, Marrakech, Fez, Tangier ... what makes the most beautiful is that we have too many cultures, very good dishes, the beaches, the people too nice and very generous...In short, Morocco is too beautiful

Yeah I've been there twice, it's such a magical place !! Especially Marrakesh and Chefchouen , Fez , tetouan and many other places, it's such an ethereal country, and their people are too nice !! My first time was when I was 19 , I met a 15 year old boy, very intelligent ( he speaks like 6 languages fluently I was quite impressed ) , he volunteered to show me around and invited me to his house that was at the heart of marrakesh , his mother and grandmother welcomed me and offered to host me for the next days and they were incredibly nice .
From the first moment I stepped in the airport they were so good to me, I had a problem with my papers because it was my very first time to travel alone so I kinda messed up with the procedures, but they all gathered to help me and I used their phones to call the association I was collaborating with , they offered me tea and food and I waited in the airport until they fixed the problem for me .
It was such a beautiful, unforgettable experience thus I decided to go there again last year . And it's still as beautiful as ever. The culture, the people, the landscape , everything feels like you're in a fairy tale.

How is the country? Great and peaceful at the moment.

How's the culture, customs and traditions? You will get to discover them soon, Morocco is a country rich of tradition, each region is different from the other, i say it's like traveling to another dimension, lol, you're in the same country but each region has its own weather, architecture, geography, special food and even traditional music, there's multiple genres and different traditional clothing as well.

As for customs, from its geographical position alone, you can guess Morocco is a country that's very open towards others, 15 mins away from Europe, the middle east right beside it and Africa down under so there's a blend of customs and people like foreigners, as long as you stay respectful and treat the people like you would treat anyone everywhere else you will be fine and have a great experience (reason i'm saying this is because sometimes tourists take pictures of normal citizens without their permission they're human too, not a piece of architecture, not a  decorated wall you can marvel at, people in big touristic cities like Marrakesh always deal with that and it's frustrating for them, what you won't do in NY, don't do in Morocco)

How are the people? I think I kind of answered that with the previous question, Moroccans are great hosts and take pride in being welcoming people and always try to show a good image of Morocco to foreigners through their actions, it won't be far from a real possibility that you would get invited to someone's home for a cup of tea or even lunch but beware as someone who work in a franchise hotel i'm sure you know everywhere there will be people who try to scam and take advantages of tourists, for example someone telling you to come to their home the moment you get out of the airport lmao, that would be an obvious scam but if you get to meet discuss and know someone don't be alerted if they want to welcome you and help you around.

A tip: most stores don't have fixed prices, so bargain, they think tourists have them dolla$ bills so they might try to sell you smth with a higher price, always bargain.

What's the weather like lets say at the beginning of September? beginning of September is perfect, Moroccan summers are so hot but around September the weather starts to cool down, although Moroccan September weather is probably NY July/August weather lol.

Any must go to places? I wanna go to Fez ,Rabat, Marrakesh and Casablanca: all great places, i get sad when tourists only visit Marrakesh because the other cities have completely different charms and you can't get a whole picture of what's Morocco's like if you don't visit other major cities, Texas is not New York and likewise Rabat is not Marrakesh.

I would add Tangier up north to your list and if you're traveling from Rabat to Tangier, you can stop by the blue city; Chefchaouen, it's a small town, like a little village but it's all blue and has a waterfull going down the middle of the town, so refreshing <3  and very picturesque half a day there, an afternoon, a stop, will suffice.

Close to Marrekesh, there's a city called Essaouira, beaches, great music (birth place of Gnawa music, a soul-Jazz type of music) it's kinda like the hub of hipsters and music lovers, if you have a big interest in music, Essaouira is must to visit.

Marrakesh => Essaouira = > Casablanca => Rabat => Fez => short stop in Chefchaouen => Tangier this would be the best plan and you will see all sides of Morocco this way.

Marrakesh's weather is very hot, so make sure to choose days where the weather is the most chill to visit.

EDIT: I'm sorry if this is too long, I tried to think and include everything.
