Gimme tips on how to study for anatomy

make flashcards of each part and its function(s)

start small, like cells and tissues, and for each week study them

You can also print out worksheets, one that's already labeled and one that's not. Study the worksheets, and when you feel ready, label the parts.

Mnemonics help too. I know a mnemonic that can help you remember the layers of the epidermis, but it's not appropriate to post on OH. laugh.png

They help especially if they include visuals. :) I know the information is overwhelming, but as I said take it step-by-step. If you're familiar with the medical terminology, then move on to the cells and tissues, and then you could move on to the organ systems.

Flashcards!

I can't emphasize it enough ~ they're really important and will make a huge difference. Also when you start class you'll see a lot of the models and charts so make sure you practice with those and get familiar with them since that's what you'll have to label and recognize for the exams.

Good luck~
