[KNETZ] KBS 'The Best Hit' Viewers requesting for Yoon Son Ha to be taken off the show due to bullying incident (35k upvotes damn)

Since yesterday there has been reports saying her son, who's in the third grade, was bullying one of his classmates. Others who are involved in the bullying is the grandson of Park Sam Koo, who's the chairman of Kumho-Asiana (yup, that Asiana Airlines). The reports are saying that they covered the kid with a blanket and wouldn't let him get out while he was being covered, hit him with bats (not wooden bats), and forced him to drink body wash while lying to him that it was milk. Her agency is saying that some of the reporting is being exaggerated and that the bats were just styrofoam(?) and that made people even more mad because it sounds like she's just brushing it off by saying it's just child's play.

I don't know what's going to happen to her and the drama but it sucks that the rest of the production crew and the cast has to be impacted by this. I also hope the child who was bullied is doing better ã… ã…

Article Source - Dispatch: 'Just kids playing around, but we did apologize'

[+35339, -755] Yoon Son Ha, you'll know how they feel if your kid went through the exact same thing. The world keeps moving, there's no rule that your kid won't suffer from the same thing. Listening to her excuse, she sounds like the typical bully's mom. Because her personality is like that, she brought out a child like this into the world.

[+33726, -377] If the person who suffered said it wasn't a joke, then we can't say it's a joke. With whose permission are they saying it's a joke?

[+30671,-359] So it's fine to hit someone if it's a styrofoam bat?

[+24691, -289] Wouldn't it have helped both the victim and their own children if the parents came forward and sincerely apologized to the victim? It could've brought comfort to the victim and a character lesson to their own child.

[+15605, -226] Kids these days are scaryyyyyy

[+9019, -78] Look at this attacker cosplaying as a victim (t/n: the commenter put a quote of Yoon Son Ha saying that her being a celebrity is causing her and her son great harm in this situation.)

god. so fucking awful. & her initial statement/'apology' trying to downplay this as just childs' play. just no. & i guess its safe to say radio silence from the part of the other (bullies') kid's parents? They all need to be held accountable, the school included. these kids were their responsibility while under their supervision.

Same--i hope that poor child is doing well.

From what I observed, bullying seems to be much more extreme in Korea (just based off of my own childhood)

Parents need to discipline their kids better...I remember when my brother was mean to this kid when he was in 2nd grade and my dad set him straight

If it was my own kid I wouldn't try to hide their actions

Third grade??? WTF is up with children?? When I was in third grace kids were cutting in line, stealing your things, and refusing to let you go down the slide, not ganging and beating other kids with bats!

And as a parent she should have punished her child and have him apologize.

I dont want to put all the blame on her as a parent because sometimes their are a lot of outdid influences that can determine how children are raised, but she seems to be more selfishly focused on her own reputation and the damage this negative media is causing to her OWN son rather than the reason why all of this is happening in the first place.

I'm top of that, rich and celebrity kids and people always feel like they are kings and queens and can get away With anything including walking all over other people.

bullies are disgusting and adults who think of it as "just kids playing around" are even more disgusting.

don't fuckin shield him, even if he is your son. and don't fuckin apologize in his place.

i can't even imagine what victim is going through :/

Korwa really needs to do something about bullying. How can someone call this kids play? They need to get better education. Since thye care about social status so much they lack the understanding of human equality

well their adults publicly televized hitting each other is just a joke, glorified hitting punishment and all. They need to get rid of those first and their age ranks or wtv status.

I am really enjoying this drama :( however, I really hope the bullied kid is okay. I wish she'd just make her son own up to his mistakes and sincerely apologize himself. Also, how this is just kids playing around is beyond me
