Lets be real if it wasn't for Hyunbin, Jonghyun would have never gotten so much screentime and love and become known as "Nation's Leader"

 

Hyunbin received a shit ton of backlash and hate for his actions. I was one of the people who disliked him (granted I just in general hate when talented trainees get passed because of visuals).

 

Hyunbin did grow on me later on in the season and did show improvement. He also got FUCKED by Mnet at the end when they did that top 20 cutoff BS.

 

If it wasn't Hyunbin's actions, Jonghyun wouldn't have blow up and Nu'est probably wouldn't be getting a comeback the second half of the year.

 

Seriously the reason why Jonghyun became popular was for his behavior with handling Hyunbin. Before Jonghyun was getting like no screentime and he had very little lines during all his performances throughout the show. I barely saw him in Never and Sorry Sorry.

 

 

Thank you, Hyunbin, for everything and I am so sorry for all the shit and hate you got during Produce 101.

I hope Hyunbin does well as a model if he decides not to continue his path as an idol.

He was my first pick on the show and i was soo sad he got all that hate and that he was cut off !!

I'm glad he's close to the Nu'est members tho, especially Minhyun and Jonghyun. He evn cried for them

I'm just happy that he could grow up and be better thru pd101 (even tho it was a wild ass ride) so people could look aside from their initial perspective of him and see how sincere he is.

When he cried in the final and said "my heart hurts for kim jonghyun".....ugh it was the saddest moment for me, I couldn't stop crying with him. I hope they keep being close, he really seems to love and admire the nu'est members

I lowkey wish Hyunbin, Jonghyun, and Minhyun will always keep in contact. I love their interaction; Hyunbin-Jonghyun during Sorry Sorry day (the first time I wish they're real brothers as their interaction was more like brothers than fellow trainee), Hyunbin-Minhyun during 1st elimination (it's cute when Hyunbin craved BoA's comment for his new hair color and Minhyun just savagely told him to focus on practice more... The pout-mouth Hyunbin made was so cute lol), Jonghyun cried when Hyunbin was eliminated, Hyunbin hugged his precious hyungs (Minhyun-Jonghyun) and cried for Jonghyun in finale moment of P101

I don't know if "being thankful" it's the right way to put it

Minhyun pick hyunbin more than anything bc he was his friend and jonghyun help him thru smth he wasn't used to bc he never train to be an idol. I think a lot of us can relate to him in the sentiment of how much we wish for jonghyun to make it to the top11, one could see how much it affect him that that didn't happen and I don't think hyunbin needin exchange anything for the tittle jonghyun got.

 

He receive a lot of hate and I'm not saying it was ok for him to be lazy but the hate he got was excessive  considering the things one could read in his ig, he could grow and be a better and people seem to be more open to look past his first impressions and mistakes.

Well, Minhyun picking up the team members made everyone in justice league shine and rise in the ranks.. except Hyunbin.. 4 of them made it to the final top 11...

I just saw your question. No he's not gonna be in YG's new survival show, i mean he's not even compltely in YG, plus i'm pretty sure the boy group debuting from that show is gonna be pretty young. YG said before he wanted to debut a group full of teenagers.
