It's amazing that he as an idol can actually inspire people. This is gonna sound cheesy af but he reminds me of that one disney princess quote "Have courage and be kind" 0u0plz.png Jonghyun's basically the epitome of that.

Believe me, not that I ignore you, I wasn't really into fandom but only watching dramas. I always thought there was no time to be a fan, since I, too, had my own struggle though it's not as difficult as yours. But now, I have finished school and been working, so I tell myself, I can be your noona fan from now on. I'm not really into Kpop actually (I'm more into rock) but a young man who had suffered so much yet didn't give up for freaking 7 years deserves the support--so the youth out there know there is always a way to live your dream if you never lose hope.

This hurts... but Jonghyun is such an inspiration. I'm so happy that people are noticing him now, he will finally get what he always deserved. Wait, honestly no, we can't ever give him that, he really is too good for this world.

Me too. This really isn't the easiest moment for me to fully support someone as a fan, but I will do it anyway for Jonghyun. It may seem dramatic, but his actions touched me in imaginable ways. He also showed me how beautiful being selfless can be, even if we don't end up getting rewarded.

 

I hope everything turns for the best, but if that is not the case I will be supporting him because he seems like a beautiful and kind person.

When I saw this topic I knew it's about Jong and part of me didn't want to read it. As someone who has been fortunate enough to have lived a fairly hardship free life so far (which I feel terrible b/c I've taken it for granted many, many times), I can't even begin to imagine what it was like to leave home at such a young age and endure years and years of hardship and emotional stress. But those experience made him the amazing person he is today so I know he will succeed. Best wishes for the nation's leader.
