bluetoile 355 Posted July 6, 2017 Share Posted July 6, 2017 Not too difficult imo although some people find it really challenging. As a major, it's alright. I find that majors that combine technology and business vary from school to school and some offer courses on x areas whereas others don't so it's hard to say how difficult the major is at your school. Edit: From what I've personally seen, the most common reason why people in my program changed majors was not because they found the courses too challenging, but because the major wasn't a good fit for them and they weren't particularly interested in the courses. If you're interested in the subject and motivated enough to do a double major, then by all means you should go for it. Marketing and business analytics would be a good combo since analytics plays an increasingly important role in marketing. I know some people who work at technology companies or tech/business roles and them having a background in both IT and business played in a role in getting them certain jobs with certain companies so I think double majoring could be potentially useful.
