GD, YG and Gaon respond to USB music controversy

Recommended Posts

As I said in the other thread, GD doesn't seem to be understanding the issue...

Like yeah what really matters at the end of the day are the songs itself and the memories...but the thing is, no one is debating over his music or artistry

The issue is if his album should be counted on the charts which is a valid debate b/c essentially all he's selling is an empty flash drive that requires you to buy the songs online

It doesn't matter if the USB comes with m/vs and behind the scene footage...that's just fan merchandise imo

And if he was all about the music he should have just done a strictly digital release Â¯\_(ツ)_/¯

To me, if there are no songs on it, it's not a physical music album.

Bonus content like music videos, making films, that's fine and dandy and all but that's the kind of stuff I find on DVDs. That doesn't make it a physical music album to me. Or is all of that in the download link too? 'Cause in that case, it matters even less.

They're not even capable of providing good reasons for this basically a scam.

People spend $30 for an empty usb inside a jewelcase *shudders* and "what's the problem?"

Now I don't buy his album but my friend does and she's pissed knowing this. Not everyone is rich, we live on the other side of the world and the shipping fee is so expensive so if anything it'd be better worth it.
