Song Ga Yeon K.O.s Jo Se Ho with her low kick on 'Roommate'

 

 

Although she's one of the lesser-known celebrities on the show, MMA fighter Song Ga Yeondefinitely made her mark (literally) on her debut on SBS's 'Roommate'!

 

Trying to get closer with Jo Se Ho, one of her ten roommates on the show, they decided to give her a chance to show off her fighting skills. "I'm not that strong," she said, although her warm-up skills proved the contrary. 

 

Swiftly kicking the comedian in the shins, Jo Se Ho was knocked down to the ground as the MMA fighter profusely apologized. "I worried that you would ask me to keep doing it if I went too soft," she explained. "But that really wasn't that strong of a kick!"

Yup! The pilot episode is 2 hours long & most of the subbers of the fandoms are having second thoughts on subbing the whole thing because Chanyeol only appeared at the beginning of the show & Bom only arrived towards the end of the show, so they are just cutting the vids and subbing those respective parts... but I want to understand what happened in the entire show... so I am really waiting for subs

 

but again, Patience is a virtue... and I hope there's a kind soul out there that will sub the whole thing....

Just watched iiit~ without subs though. First of all, I wanna specify my ship/love line:

BODONG!

 

anyways, here's what I have to say about the room mates..

 

PARK BOM

While others say they're "nervous", Park bom says "I feel like I'm going to give birth" (paraphrased). Since the carrying bag is an issue, I'd like to point out that Bom offered to carry her green luggage by herself and manager oppa just gestured not to do it. But eventually Wook was the one who carried it

 

LEE DONG WOOK

*swoon* handsome oppa. 2nd to the last to arrive. He seemed all natural and suave except for the stumbling out of the car thing. I can't wait to see his morning face next ep <3

 

LEE SORA

I absolutely felt awkward for her when she arrived. Is it because of the age gap? lol maybe it would've been more comfortable for her if she offered help or asked questions. Well, I guess she wasn't used to speaking without the script. Sorry, I just expected more from her since she's a radio talk show host.

 

NANA

She was a little too bubbly but at least she livened up the show, right? And she's really pretty. I'm gonna wait for more episodes before I judge. Though, I think the standie thing of herself is a bit overboard. It's funny if Seho does it, but in her case, it just looked a tad bit conceited.

 

CHANYEOL

I'm not a fan of EXO and it's the first time I've watched him. It was a pleasant surprise that he's actually polite and well-mannered, despite the awkwardness. He's adorable.

 

KANG JOON

Is he Kim So Hyun's boyfriend in the mysterious housekeeper? I think that's where I remember seeing him. He's really cute. I just really don't like the leech hanging onto him .

 

SOO HYUN

I am not a crazy fan girl and I don't hate love lines. But love lines can exist like the Monday Couple, without one of the pair being all clingy. It's annoying.

 

MIN WOO

I remember him from Flower Boy Ramyun Shop and I remember thinking I wanna watch more of his dramas! But there weren't many so.. I guess I'll get to know him more here.

 

SE HO

The portrait has to go.

 

SUNG WOO

I honestly forgot his name lol. he looks like a cool dude and cook! I am looking forward to him making peace if there ever was a drama inside the house. Is he married? I think it'd be weird to pair him up with lee so ra either way

 

GA YEON

I like her! Pretty and tough. Watching her makes me wanna go study any type of martial arts. I hope they show sides of her other than kicking ass though

I agree that they've established rapport earlier on so it's all the more awkward for her. It's difficult to come in any kind of circle last. Lucky BoDong came in when they're all already asleep! Good thang

 

That gif! Who says Bom can't be a dancing machine?? I'm so glad she really let her natural quirkiness shine in Roommate. I was really worried she'd be shy and quiet without familiar people around. What lee sora said in the radio show is kinda true, Bom gives off a feeling of being a baby that you just want to protect and cuddle her!
