Why are idol x reader fics so popular?

Recommended Posts

No idea, but it's annoying when they fill the tags on tumblr. I had to scroll for ages to get past some Johnny x Reader smut fanfiction because they wouldn't put it under the spoiler and it was as long as a novel idontthinksobetchplz.png

Omg YES!!! It's almost as if under every tag I go under these long ass fanfics/scenarios/reactions are there

It makes fangirls (or fanboys) think that they have a chance with their bias... smh

The kpop text and "selca ship" posts are everywhere too ohdearplz.png I don't think there's a kpop tag anyone can go to without finding one of these unsure.png But the reaction posts (and texting posts) are the weirdest imo because they make it seem like all idols will love everything about you and it's so unrealistic. Like I saw one where NCT was supposed to react to you taking one of their shirts (without them knowing) because you liked to smell their scent when falling asleep, and they ALL react happily and find it cute and want to give you more of their shirts... even though NCT has like 15 members. You would think at least one of them would find it weird.. idontthinksobetchplz.png

I don't mind if people like them, but they could at least put them in a spoiler when they're super long.
