Official DGNA [The Boss] Thread

Hey guys, this is Jasmine from Cosmorion/100304@tumblr.

 

We are going to need staff of all types for this comeback.

If you want to contribute but don't know how, just contact me by messaging me, replying to me here, or by tweeting me at @h_jasmine;

 

What we need the most of are TRANSLATORS.

If you can translate Korean we need you so we can deliver translations and subs as fast as possible.  You'll get full credit in articles and videos.

 

We also need graphics people,

a new set of moderators (we are going to open a newer, simplified forum for everyone), and a

News search and delivery team (searches for news all over the web and in other media if they have access to it)

 

If you have an idea for a position we haven't thought of, just let me know.  I'm sure there are plenty of things that we can learn from other fans (:

@fuckJohhny I'm wondering, do you even follow our fansite for news on The Boss? I'm curious now where you're getting your news if you're not getting it from us. This is just an attempt to make cosmorion better by finding out why some masters seem to look elsewhere even though we're the largest fansite for them...

 

 

The official fancafe is already planning support projects for their comeback. I'm going to update you guys here when they finalize their plans since they'd love everyone's participation. Maybe I can even get some of their staff to come say hello of that would encourage you guys.

 

As for their company, I'm kind of surprised they signed on at the same time as such a respected singer as Jo Sung Mo...

anyway, this thread is alive and it makes me happy because we were struggling to hit 4 pages like a few months ago ;;

 

everything is appreciated (especially when it comes from the queen of the DGNA fandom herself)

Maybe it just seems like that because I know a whole lot of people from all sides of fandom.  idk.  It's really weird because even when I feel like I must have met every fan on twitter, ten more pop up. 

(Yet I still can't seem to find anyone who wants to become a Korean translator for us AHEM COUGH LOOKS AT POST I MADE PLS LET EVERYONE KNOW WE'RE HIRING)

 

The most interesting comment I hear from new fans about our fandom is that they're impressed at how together Japanese, Korean and otherwise fans are really together, like we don't fight because of where we're from and the fancafe doesn't discriminate against non-Korean fans.  I think that has a lot to do with The Boss' mentality and how they've kept their staying power.

That is us. 

 

KingdomPrince and enchanteDNA merged to create AstroMafia.

The leaders abandoned us and we rebranded as Cosmorion so they couldn't try to take it back.

The old leader after that left so now it's Kaye and I.

We kept the forums there so people could still access all the files and we redid the channels (cosmosubs).

 

We are the only truly international fansite (and we've been here the longest despite the name and ownership changes).

Just a reminder that you guys need to give proper credit when you're sharing things here, a watermark just doesn't cut it either.  Some people get very iffy about this (including us about cosmorion because it hurts fandom if you share our info and don't tell people where to get it in the event that you're not here to share it).
