Nothing has been finalized, and there has never been any notion of 11 making the final group from the start of the broadcast. Currently nothing has been confirmed whether or not the final group will consist of 11 members, and only will be revealed in the final episode. On the official homepage inviting nation producers to pick out of candidates who have been selected candidates to be the nation's idols, these idols training relentlessly just for the hopes of becoming global icons in a survival show. Last year, 22 trainees were selected to continue to the final broadcast, but this season, only 20 individuals have been chosen to proceed. The final episode will consist of two teams of 10 to battle. The content has changed since the last season, and there has been discussions that the final debut lineup may be more or less than 11 members. The only way people can confirm what will happen is by watching the final live broadcast of Produce 101 on June 16th. I freaking hate mnet. mte, they're probably gonna wait till they know the final ranking and then choose the number of members by who they like/dislike at #12, #13. I don't think they'll decrease the number of members, since more members = more fans = more $$$, but who knows. Personally I prefer smaller groups over really large groups; groups over 11 members tend to look a bit crowded on stage.
