Do company stans ruin fun for any of you?

 

I was about to stan a group hardcore like you know going to their concert and buying albums and all. But then I encountered the company stans being their awful selves and bashing everyone else while claiming superiority etc.

 

Anyway and then I realized a lot of people who stan that group are also company stans and there is this bs about respecting their seniors etc in their mind and it was such a turn off I can't play their song right now 

 

Does this happen to you or am I the only one who is so sensitive to these things?

Company stans are the worst because they can't take criticism against their favorite company and defend some of the worst aspects of the industry

i dont get the company stan culture.

you're essentially only liking artists because they're from that company, right?

i'd rather be a stan of artists that just so happen to be from the same company as oppossed to only wanting to stan artists from one company.

 

some company stans take it farther than that and don't stan any artist outside of their favorite company. that's honestly the most boring thing i've heard in kpop.

I hate when they defend every thing a company does, even when it is to the detriment to the groups under the company. It's like, do you stan the company or the groups who are apart of it? They act like the company can't do no wrong.

Well I listened to the music of that group and liked it before too but I wasn't stanning them hardcore but since I started liking them a bit more it is hard to ignore the fandom now idk I guess it is just me.
