Yuehua Ent are doing things right by their PD101 Boys.

We've seen so many promising boys be eliminated from PD101 and as much as it sucks, 80% of them will never make it as an Idol and unlike last season, their doesn't seem to be any company trains. 

 

Last season you had Jellyfish girls, Fantagio girls, MBK, Pledis & many more girls that rode the company train pretty far and even after they were eliminated, people were still interested in the girls as a whole.

 

Companies also had the ability to debut the groups regardless of if a trainee made it into the final 11, whilst the 

 boys in the top 11 can't join their company groups for almost 2 years. 

 

This leaves a lot of uncertainty for the boys who are eliminated, are they going to wait around for 2 years if 1 one of their company trainees makes it? Has PD101 made their companies re-think about their potential? 

 

So when two of my favourites were eliminated at the top 35 stage of PD101, I was so sad. 

 

Justin & Jung Jung were some of favourites and being eliminated meant that I had no idea what was next for them. Their other label mate, Choi Seunghyeok was eliminated at the top 60 stage and we'd heard nothing about him since, they're also Chinese, so their was the added possibility that Yuehua would change their minds about debuting them Korea instead of China. 

 

Hyungseob and Euiwoong are also both still in PD101, which means that their debut date is up in the air. 

 

And then YueHua dropped an Instagram page called YH Next and all was put to rest.

Pictures poured in of not just Jung Jung & Justin but also of Seunghyeok, 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

YH are keeping fans continuously updated and this gives me hope that they've got concrete plans for the boys and are just waiting to see how Hyungseob & Euiwoong do in PD101 before deciding on a course. Regardless of what happens, I'm thankful that the boys are with Yuehua who seem to know what they're doing with these kids. I had zero interest in Seunghyeok before but these pictures have gained my curiosity, I want to see what he's like and what he can actually do as mnet gave him zero screen time. 

 

I don't understand why other companies aren't doing this and trying to hold on and grow the small fanbases that they've managed to gather before all the hype dies down. Trainees like Eunki, Hwaanwoong and Woo Jinyoung have such interest in them at the moment and it seems such a shame that their companies are letting all that go to waste.
