He obviously knows what a public-friendly sound is while injecting diverse music elements - his songs don't sound too similar but there seems to be a consistency where you know he's at the helm. A lot of his works defy the fact that he's only 21 - there's an air of sophistication in his sound and his works are always well-polished, you can hear a variety of influences (J-Pop, funk, edm etc) in his work but he manages to make it cohesive and well-produced. I don't know why SVT stuff aren't charting or getting PAKs but I can assure you if it were a more GP-acknowledged artist, his work could easily get those with his sound. Plus it hasn't been that long since he actually started composing (3-4 years maybe) but he improved super fast. Even comparing their first songs to their current ones (and the songs on Going Seventeen and Love Letter too) you can tell how the songs have become much more polished in both composition and production. I wish more people would recognize his musical talent in the midst of all this 'kpop boygroup' stigma. I like that he is constantly improving and experiencing with different styles of music.
