What I got from the articles was that the agency sued her in particular for going AWOL, basically making it impossible for the girls to function as a group, thus delaying their comeback. Hyunseo (or "Ms A", as she's referred to in the articles) claimed that the agency treated her differently from the other members, which implies that maybe she actually did breach the contract (probably because they treated her like crap, but from a legal point of view that doesn't really matter - a contract is a contract). Seems similar to the way in which Boram and Soyeon left MBK, except they could afford to hire the lawyers required to prevent MBK from pulling this kind of stunt.
