Saint Ren 4,272 Posted June 4, 2017 Share Posted June 4, 2017 I'm not that big into Drama's anymore, only manage 2/3 a year but 2016 was a great year for K Drama's, I managed to finish around 6/7 drama's. Every time a good drama finished another one started right after it and some even clashed. Descendant's Of The Sun. February - April It was pretty silly but the chemistry kept me coming back till the final episode. Doctors June - August I'll watching anything with Kim Raewon but I was impressed with show, the acting, the plot etc was good all around. W: 2 Worlds July - September My favourite drama of 2016, this show was just such a rush, everything was executed wonderfully. Goblin December - January. The cinematography was ace, the acting on point and the story great. Honorary Mentions: Uncontrollably fond Jealousy Incarnate The K2 Cheese in the trap (before it went off the rails) Unlike 2016, It's already June and I've only just found a drama that I'm interested in, so for my personal preference, 2016 was an awesome year for K Drama's. Lots of 2016 dramas started out really good but went down hill in the later episodes (citt, doctor, W (i was sooo sad about w so much potentialll), the K2, moon lovers, moonlight drawn by the clouds...) nandayo 782 Posted June 5, 2017 Share Posted June 5, 2017 I think Kdrama popularity with big rating peak in 2016 but 2017 has Tunnel, seven day Queen, Lookout, Defendant, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Rebel, Circle, Voice I think the drama genre changed and 2017 give more serious heavy crime drama and for genre, I think 2017 is better.
