I think when you struggle with your members, you're sharing that experience and it makes it easier than struggling alone.

Being the most popular in a nugu groups means you get more harassment, more saesangs and more criticism for little money and an unstable career.

 

Being the least popular in a popular group means you can get tons of money and not be harassed by fans or by haters because no one notices you. Kind of sucks as you've worked so hard BUT you have still achieved success as part of the group which is partly due to your contribution, and you can just make your money and go on to other endeavours.

I'd want to be the least popular in a super successful group. That least popular successful group member will still have more fans than that popular struggling group member in the grand scheme of things. In general, success for my group is the most important thing as far as I'm concerned.
