As IC are now down to 5 cast members, that gives us 5 picks. I also tried to have a lot of diversity amongst my choices, although most of them are sadly unrealistic. Yu Seung Woo One of my favourite Korean Male solo singers, his voice is to die for. FT Island These boys sell out arena's across Asia and are great on variety shows. Mino & Yoon. YG always has an act and with GD busy this summer, I thought Winner's song writing duo would be the perfect replacement. Both amazing songwriters with a mass of popularity, this one may just happen. Baek A Yeon A girl with a crazy amount of talent, JYP's gem, in my opinion. So, I think they'll probably invite someone from BTS given their popularity. I don't think they'll invite a Big Bang member this time given the current scandal. No one else in YG can pull a guaranteed hit like GD or Taeyang. Mino has been invited before (for their history special) but I think they'll invite someone not from YG honestly. They may also invite Taeyeon since she's popular even though she doesn't fit the writer\producer mold. They've invited Jessica before so it could happen plus I'm sure SM wants to attach their name to the special again given it's popularity. I could see them inviting Zico as well. I would love to see more girls, not just the usual "only one girl" like with IU or BoA. Bolbbang would be good because they are popular and they compose their own music. Or a new discovery. My ideal one would be Yoon Mi Rae and having Future liger again. But one of the things I love about this project is that it makes me find amazing artist (hyukoh, kim C, 10cm...), so any mistery or not that famous band/ singer would be great. Suran might appear but with their 1 woman per season tradition, she may just get edged out. I'd love to see IU back, her and Myungsoo were the highlight for me.
