On July 2’s broadcast of SBS’ Incarnation, Sandara Park and CL appeared as guests and talked about their experience surviving through the 2011 earthquake in Japan.

Sandara Park explained that she was on the 34th floor of the hotel she was staying in when the earthquake occurred. “Usually when I’m scared or hurt, I try to withstand it, but at the time, I felt the need to live, so I crawled on the floor, screaming for help. But it turned out that I was the only one on the floor.â€

Desperate for help, Sandara Park managed to call using the hotel phone and somehow got connected with CL.

“She said calmly, ‘Unnie, stay where you are. Don’t get in the elevators. I’ll come get you,†said Sandara Park. “I waited believing her words and CL actually came.â€

CL had walked to the 34th floor with another person from the 31st floor to come rescue Sandara Park.
