It's Chinese movie not co-production. It was fully financed by Chinese production. The budget is around $100M, most expensive Chinese movie to date. They just hired hollywood designer and CGI team. 

 

Wu Lei is the lead actor along side Tony Leung Ka Fei and Carina Lau. It was expected for summer 2018 release.
