Katy Perry is officially the most followed person on Twitter with 99.2 million followers. Despite what the numbers say, Katy does not have the most human followers – according to twitteraudit.com.The website, which works out how many of someone's followers are bots and therefore fake, reveals only 32% of Katy's followers are genuine. Although none of this is confirmed, the website reveals that a massive 88% of Taylor Swift's followers are real, the highest percentage out of the other top 10 most followed Twitter accounts.If you subtract all of the "fake" followers, Taylor's on top with a total of 74.2 million followers, while Katy falls behind with only 31.7 million.

Katy Perry's reps and Twitter have yet to comment.

idk if you still care about this but basically, like two years ago (or something) Katy and Taylor were touring around the same time and a group of dancers that both of them shared chose to go on Katy's tour instead of Taylor's. So Taylor had this over the top reaction and wrote a diss track about how Katy stabbed her in the back and enlisted a bunch of famous U.S. celebs to star in a music video about how Katy was a snake and this was the beginning of Katy's ruin in the industry (like people--producers--stopped wanting to work with her). And now, because I guess this has been following Katy for years, she's released a response called Swish Swish (which is awful) about how she's super popular and relevant and Taylor is not (which is tragic cuz it's actually the opposite). Although, some people say that the real reason for the fued was because Katy dated John Mayer (it was a pretty serious relationship) and Taylor was pissed because she also dated John and he was a dick to her.
