OMG I love this drama.

That cliffhanger from Part 1 of Episode 3 had me believing the real culprit is HJY just to be proven wrong on Episode 4. LMAO. That was good writing there.

Is HJY the woman at the end of Episode 4? She was surprised to know that KJH isn't what she think he is because I'm guessing she thought KJH is Woo Jin which explains why she dropped the rubik's cube.

Predictions.

Well we all know by now that the professor is the mastermind of the suicide killings that is happening in 2017. With the method he used on Beom Gyeon, it is possible that the same was made on those previous victims. Part 1 won't be titled Beta Project without it referencing to testings and experiments so it is most likely that the professor is using the suicide victims for his experiments. The chip found on the blue bug could be the same chip that is inserted on the people of Smart Earth and they were doing beta tests in 2017.

**This is extreme reaching but I believe the twins' father might have known the professor from 10 years ago. The father might be surrendering the alien to the government but they intend on using the alien for their own benefits without disclosing the existence of aliens in the world. The father could still be alive or worse, killed off to prevent mistakes of having witnesses.

The professor must have adopted, or should I say given the task to take care of, the alien and must have done some experiments on her already which explains why she can not recall any of her childhood memories.

The chips could be some sort of a tool to suppress bad memories of the past. Remember when Professor Han asked Woo Jin what is his plan regarding their research about dealing with traumatic experiences? Woo Jin said that the best cure is to totally eliminate the bad memories like cancer cells. Ring a bell? People of Smart Earth turns out to have bad memories blocked out by Human B. Which could lead to two possible scenarios. One. The chairman is Professor Han and is basically implementing the idea made by Woo Jin in 2017. Two. The chairman is Woo Jin and he is basically executing his idea himself. Welp.

I, myself, was confused when KJH was visiting the school, the dorm, the bakery and the motel since it is most likely showing the audience that he is Woo Jin and not Beom Gyeon but then we were given the realization that KJH is not Woo Jin very much to HJY's surprise. But hey, the writers might be throwing us off and it could turn out KJH was just confused and he really is Woo Jin but made believe he is Beom Gyeon since I'm believing HJY knows who Woo Jin really was.

And on Ho Soo being maybe one of the twins. Maybe he was given one of the twin's memory apart from his original memories and have them blocked by Human B. And since the victims of the professor were all driven mad by the blue bug and thus committing suicide, it maybe possible Beom Gyeon died and his memory was contained. LOL. So much reaching right now. My imagination is running wild. Haha.

Questions time:  ... Why is Alien girl suddenly professor's daughter? Didn't she leave twins house with twins father? Did twins father hand over her to professor? or Were/Are they working together? Was that girl used for experiments, like she is an alien and seemed like she had huge knowledge, so why not? but then they blocked her memories. I wonder why.

Welp. I made a post inside a spoiler earlier and made some assumptions on how the alien suddenly became the professor's daughter. We definitely are thinking on the same way. 0u0plz.png

can't wait for next episodes.. I'm so impatient lmao

Ahhh, same. I can't wait for the next episodes to air.

  • 2 weeks later...

Ahhhh. Was away for a while. Finally got the time to catch up. Still on Episode 7 though.

Ahhhhh the spoiler above me though. I cry. warstarplz.png

Welp. So my reaching wasn't too much reaching after all since twins' dad indeed knows Professor Han but instead of surrendering Byul to the government like I mentioned, they were actually working together. hurrplz.png

I was shocked when the doctor was revealed to be Min Young. I ship her and Beom Gyeon. 0u0plz.png

So many character reveals from the annoying sunbae to Professor Park.

I was going to mention Minister Park as someone who could be on the good side but LOL at the spoiler, now I don't have to think of him as a good guy. Well, it prolly makes sense he is putting the blame to Professor Han as the last person Woo Jin saw in person if he did try to get even with Professor Han and maybe has killed him in 2017 because of the project and constant blaming that they were on the same boat. Park may have gathered all the data for himself, ditched Han and established Smart Earth. He must have hired Woo Jin for the Human B project given he knew first hand the discussion that took place between Woo Jin and Professor Han about memory loss.

One thing I have thought of is maybe Woo Jin started acting like his father and withdrew from the project when he deemed that the results are not what he intended to just like how his father took all the files relating to the results of their experiments in 2007.

Could Joon Hyuk be Woo Jin? But Park was certain to ask if he was Beom Gyeon and not Woo Jin hinting that Park knows where Woo Jin is or what happened to him.

Another thing. Joon Hyuk lost all his memories and was only shown the memory of Woo Jin. How are they certain that he is really Beom Gyeon? Did the detective guy just assume he is Beom Gyeon and showed Woo Jin's memory. Hmmm.

LOL sry for spoiled you some spoiler here, as i even not watch Ep.8 either, yet idrm seeing some spoiler laugh.png

Naah, I don't really mind seeing spoilers as well. I have avoided this thread while watching Episodes 5-7 and only visited after watching all three. I was referring to the tweet you posted just before my post. LOL. Is that legit? Since I was about to write him as someone on the good side till I saw the tweet like hell no, he was the Chairman of Human B after all? LOLS.

I have just finished watching Episode 8.

LOL. So he really is the chairman. hurrplz.png So I'm guessing Professor Han took the fall from all the experiments that happened in 2017 given that we still haven't seen him in circa 2037. That video recording immediately made me assume Park was going to really take advantage of the information about Byul's ability to transfer memory in video format. Well, the fact that it was Park who made those blue bugs is actually a hint that he maybe is the Chairman in 2037.

Woo Jin photo in 2022. He was clearly smiling in the photo which could mean he and Park had good relations after Park allegedly helped him find Beom Gyeon. He may feel indebted to Park so he helped him in his project with the pretense that they are doing it for the PTSD victims where in fact, Park is doing this for his Smart Earth. Also, I mentioned earlier that Woo Jin may have acted like his father and ditched Park when he realized that Park was only using him.

I'm still wondering when will we see Woo Jin burning the files on top of the building at the beginning of each episode.

Haha. I was supposed to watch Episodes 5-8 earlier before I posted but Episode 8 still got no subtitles so I didn't get to watch it yet. Luckily for me, I refreshed one more time and there are subs already available so I watched it ASAP.

Episode 9 thoughts.

Aigoo. Professor Park's presence is so annoying. ASHJGFADFAF

Since it is obvious that in 2037, Chairman Park still wants to capture Jeong Yeon, then it pretty much means that Human B was created based solely on the memory box that Byeol made just for Woo Jin. Unless they were able to get hold of the USB from the twins' grandma, then they may have just been using that one memory box since they have no idea of how the memories were stored in a device.

Reaching thoughts. LMAO. hurrplz.png

If that one memory box was the sole key that built Human B, then it is assumed Woo Jin is needed for them to access the technology since the memory box can only be used by Woo Jin. In 2022, Woo Jin must have been helping Park in his research and agreed to help treat those with PTSD. Woo Jin discovered Park's real intentions and decided to quit. Since him leaving would render the technology useless, Park didn't let Woo Jin leave the building.

A bill regarding cloning was briefly mentioned. Professor Han's testimony that Woo Jin is dead and Chairman Park's claim that he is still alive could mean Woo Jin must have been cloned and his original body has already died, presumably as a result of trying to escape from Park in 2022 after discovering his plans.

Let's say they took the DNA of Woo Jin in 2017. If he was indeed cloned on that year, then 2037 Woo Jin clone would resemble 2017 Woo Jin in physical appearance since he would be 20 years old in 2037.

LOL. I was actually thinking maybe it was Yeo Jin Goo that Joon Hyuk and Jeong Yeon discovered at the house towards the end of the episode and thus solidifying the possibility that he was indeed cloned due to not appearing the same age as Joon Hyuk. Haha.

Erm i had a same thoughts as you,

im wondering if Woo Jin's face will not change? unlike JH?

Even professor han, has bit changes with having a gray hair & beard laugh.png

Yay. I guess I'm not the only one then. Have you seen Episode 9 already? The mention of cloning gave me the idea he was cloned. And towards the end of the episode, I was wondering who they saw inside the room and the idea of seeing Yeo Jin Goo as Kim Woo Jin in that room warrants that kind of expression since I believe Joon Hyuk/Beom Gyeon didn't really have any recollection of some sort with Professor Han to be that surprised. Haha.

I can't believe the last clip posted by FranCella was the ending for Episode 10. What a cliffhanger! amgplz.png

So is Circulate = Kim Woo Jin? And it seems that they really weren't able to replicate the technology and has been using Woo Jin all this time. Waaaaaahhhh. I can't wait for next week but sadly it's also the last week for Circle. ohdearplz.png

Ahhh the ships. 0u0plz.png

I'm also here for Woo Jin + Byeol and Beom Gyeon + Minyoung.

I think it just make sense that if they are going to have ships sailing in the end, Woo Jin being a clone is very likely since Byeol in 2037 still looks exactly as Byeol in 2007/2017 so they will make Woo Jin look younger as well. hurrplz.png

Oh and btw, has anyone checked the preview for Episode 11 after the end credits in Episode 10?

Why do I have a feeling Episode 11 would just be Beta Project and Episode 12 would be Brave New World?

I love how they linked Part 1 to Part 2 for Episode 11. I knew something bad would happen to Woo Jin when he was running away from his captors. That scene was so heartbreaking when it happened and the suspenseful sound effects leading to that scene was daebak.

Chairman Park is still annoying asf. I somehow felt bad for the senior for running over Woo Jin but it totally disappeared when I saw him in 2022.

So when Woo Jin was cloned in 2022, the picture of Woo Jin taken inside the Chairman's room, the one smiling, is that the clone? I'm not familiar with cloning but I thought when cloned, Woo Jin would have been a baby first. LMAO. So if he will not age now that he's a clone, then hooray for Woo Jin and Byeol loveteam.

Argh. I don't want to think of anything anymore. I love how Beom Gyeon finally accepted Woo Jin in the end.

The guy wearing glasses - I knew he will be on the good side. I saw goodness in him when he learned of what happened to Mayor Yoon and hopefully, when they began remembering, he will help Ho Soo escape.

I'm sad Circle is on its last episode now.

Finally done watching Episode 12.

I hate that Chairman Park went off that way. I was hoping he'll get imprisoned and suffer all the consequences but I guess they made his character someone who is greedy enough to even put his life at risk just to get what he wants.

I somewhat feel for sunbae Lee but in the end, he has to pay for all the sins he has done. Good thing he made the right choice of not ending his life.

Is it just me or everyone else thinks that the officer with glasses who's holding Ho Soo got so much screentime even at the end?

I find myself giggling like a teenager when Joon Hyuk visited Min Young at the hospital to treat his burns in the end as well. LMAO. Even moreso than Byeol and Woo Jin's moments in the end. Haha. I'm a JH-MY trash.

Regarding the ending being somewhat left open for interpretation. My guess is that even if they have succeed in their mission in bringing down Human B, there are still other stuff in the future that human beings are not aware of. Wherever Byeol came from, I believe she was meant to be sent to aid the human beings in whichever way possible with their advanced technologies similar to how Byeol's ability to put memories in videos can help cure patients suffering from PTSD. It's just that such technologies fell on the hands of a greedy and evil person like Chairman Park. The reporter mentioned similar sighting happened in 1986 which means Byeol wasn't the first alien to have come to earth and meddle with the lives of the human beings. With the arrival of this new alien in 2037, this proves that they do send their technologies on earth and it is up to the human beings on how they will handle such advanced technologies.

Overall, I totally love the series. I love the pacing of the drama and how the cliffhangers always kept me on the edge of my seat. I hope to see more of this kind of premise in future dramas.

Shoutout to FranCella for all the selcas/updates/reviews in this thread. Keep up the good work. Aja!
