doki-doki 21,660
Yes, I used to say it when I was 12/13 whenever I sang along to Rap songs, I wasn't even aware of how horrible that word was back then but luckily I learned soon after about the weight and offence of that word, and have since never said it. Fatalite 6,078
I said it once when we had to read aloud Kindred by Octavia Butler in class for group reading. It was my first time encountering that word and I didn't know what it meant so I just read it. Group mates gasped, so I realized it wasn't something that should be said, apologized, and never said it again.
Suzaku 295
Yes, for example when another person wrote it down and I read it aloud. Context matters. Some people also accused me of saying it when I just said Naega or similiar sounding words with a completely different meaning, I'm Korean. Vanille 1,800
Nope, I just don't like how it sounds But I know many black people irl who say it all the time and are perfectly fine with white people saying it. It honestly surprises me how many people on the internet get so angry over it when I literally never see that irl but whatever. I don't use it myself so who cares what others do/think

EasySteezy 860
I was a middle schooler in a very white area before, so yes. I thought the word had been totally changed and no longer offensive if it had an a at the end. There were no black kids to tell us otherwise

Azur 1,325
In my language ? yes. But only to talk about history and slave trade. The ships which were transporting the slaves were called after the n word and the name never changed... Other than that, no I've never said it. Micah Bell 567
Nope, never in my life. I was so innocent, I thought gay and fat (often used derogatively) were bad words that shouldn't be said.
