I like both SNSD and Apink , so, I'm just wondering.

how old are apink members? i know Tiffany adores them.... anything is possible but it doesn't seem likely at this time. 

 

however, one good comeback won't get them there... SNSD is a completed package.. in a unique way...why can't Apink be Apink rather than become SNSD or chasing after SNSD for its title?

It's like asking if there's a next Britney - even if she went a little crazy and got a little washed up and her songs no longer do well, she's still Britney and she occupies an important place in pop history. Nobody, not even SM's new group is going to be the next SNSD. 

 

They have the potential to be a really popular group though.

Let's face it. It will be whoever is from SM next.

 

Ppl really only care about SM and YG as companies. So the two new GG from these companies will prob be. But more likely SM cuz they will probably be prettier...which if u like it or not is a huge reason SNSD is #1. Apink are pretty and all but they don't have that dominating presence All the past #1's have had.

I always see people and apink fans draw comparison between snsd and apink and think apink can be as big as snsd.

NO To be a Nation girl group you should atleast have super popular in both at Korea & international, impact song (Gee,Genie,Oh!,Hoot), great achievement in both at korea and international, cf, positive image(Apink image already drop abit because of how naeun get into the college) and the only who can get that title is big 3 new gg...

I'll put it this way... There is a wall, but it isn't impossible to climb over, just improbable.

 

2NE1 are close, but they aren't there yet. The only reason why SNSD and 2NE1 are lumped together is because 2NE1 is the only sort of competition they have left, KARA have unofficially split and so have Wonder Girls.

 

A Pink have potential but you are looking at the wrong group to take the title from SNSD.

 

Groups like SISTAR, Girls' Day and 4Minute will get close, but you should be looking at who from the rookies and lesser-knowns will take the title...

 

Honestly speaking? Groups like Kiss&Cry, Crayon Pop and SPICA (the latter have the backing of Lee Hyori) are the ones that have the ability to take that title away from SNSD because they are unknowns...

 

I mean think about it, who were SNSD before they took the title away from Wonder Girls? Relatively unknown and if not, then they were insanely disliked.

 

A Pink has similarities to pre-Gee and pre-Genie SNSD, but you can tell that they are about to reach their peak, whereas the aforementioned groups have yet to reach that peak... As a matter of fact both SISTAR and Girls' Day are still growing so maybe they could get it done too.

 

All in all though, even if you take the throne you can never take away the history. Look at the loyalty of Wonderfuls, their group fell from the top and they still support them, and that is the main thing that us Sones can relate with as well...

 

You can take away the throne, but you could never take away the fandom.

They might be popular, but they definitely would not be the new GG. Although this might sound, er, mean, but I still think the group that can surpass SNSD is from 'big 3' companies (no offense to...whatever people). It's way easier for SM/YG/JYP to make their idols global and promote them with tons of money. There's also a larger fanbase for the bigger companies. Unless A-pink does some really, really iconic things like Crayon Pop or something like that, and meet global recognition, they are not going to shoot to the first tier. They are so cute though. Also, they'll have to change their cute concept into a varying concept like SNSD to gain more audience.
