follow this thread sincerely... The plot is interesting + kyungsoo :ahmagah: ...

Welcome to tge thread.... :)

And if u are interested in Kyungsoo, do join us on Kyungsoo thread. We usually spazz over the drama (but obviously Kyungsoo more) there. We're updating Kyungsoo's part there too since we don't wanna disturb other cast's fans here.

We're pretty fast to update (I dare to say, the fastest one to update everything :) )

We also have resident translators on our thread so it's easier for everything :)

I'm glad this seems unlike other typical Kdramas which easy to guess,, it's different. From the way they introducing the characters and the plot. I'm enjoying it coz the actors deliver it lightly. :)

So far I liked what I saw. GHJ and JIS have great chemistry.

I wish I hadn't read certain theories... lol[/spoier]

Just try to enjoy the plot as much as possible.

Fortunately, it doesn't get into me so I just follow what's delivered in my eyes :)

IOTL Making Of

Just finished watching IOTL episode 2.

OMG I'm absolutely loving the drama - it's my kind of show   :rlytearpls:. It kind of reminds me the great kookiness of House (without the procedural COTW). JIS + GHJ chemistry is really great and I love seeing a little bit of the medical side of things like the depression of the abused transgender. But sometimes it does feel like there are too many issues going on. Like there doesn't seem to be a "normal" person - or maybe that's the point.

Seems like Jaeyeol's OCD is most prominent when related to his bathroom; he recreated the his exact same bathroom at the share house and even has a coded security lock on it. Maybe something happened which is linked to the bathroom.

I'm so intrigued by Jaeyeol and his convicted brother's relationship (Jaebum) as well as their past. From what I can tell so far Jaeyeols dad and brother were abusive towards him (which I'm assuming Jaebum, like an abused person, adopted the behaviour from his father/abuser). One of the two brothers killed their father or sister.

Also Gangwoo's novel is called Two Brothers...

:ahmagah: next week seems so far away

Good news about the ratings; even though it's 3rd, IOTL is #1 in 20-49yr old demographic that advertisers want; it's also record breaking apparently. It seems like just like in the west, key demo >>> total ratings. Basically you attract a lot more advertisers and get more ££ if you have high ratings in this demographic.

Jaebeom called Jaeyeol a murder but Jaebeom the one took the blame and be jailed while Jaeyeol lead a good life.

I think that's why Jaebeom so eager to attack Jaeyeol's life.

idk if this has been posted but dang this drama is so deep. I knew something was fishy in that talkshow scene

I thought the bathroom lock thing was suspicious but I never thought it would be that dark and deep.

Also I noticed during the bathroom scene when they were talking while washing their hands, the camera would be filming Jang Jae Yeol from an angle where Jae Yeol is seen but Kang Woo is blocked by a wall.

I wonder what his obsession with black, white, blue, red, and yellow is from and about...

After watching the 2nd episode, I have come to the conclusion that every character in this drama have mental issues

I'm pretty sure that even JIS's character has something going on. There is that theory that netizens formulated. Furthermore, I think he might be suffering from a mild OCD. How he doesn't like his bathroom shown to other people (locking the bathroom, not wanting people to see it even during construction). Also, that thing that GHJ's character pointed out about having the files with same colors stacked together.

I like Jo Insung better in this drama than That Winter. I stopped watching that drama at episode 5 lol, and nearly passed on this one because I didn't like Jo Insung. Glad I didn't, the cast is awesome!

I think That Winter is more old school Korean dramas where you had 'bad guy' male leads who were if you sit down and think about it PRETTY SHITTY people. At some point there's a love triangle and the male lead either dies or has something bad happen to him as 'karma' for being a bad guy.

I think this drama is showing characters with more depth than other dramas. They actually all have backstories and reasons why they are the way they are and aren't just there because they're copying traditional character types.

I can't really believe the writer simply made Kwang Soo's character's name Soo Kwang. I mean, really...? lol

Hm...I watched this yesterday, and I guess I would say it was interesting. I think I'm neutral on it so far. It was interesting enough for me to keep watching it ( I also had to keep my eyes peeled for all of DO's cutie pie moments), but I can't say I'm dying for the next episode, although I will watch it. I find it very quirky, I would say.

Jo Insung's relationship with his brother is quite weird, though. He supposedly framed his brother for murder? And yet he talks to him so casually while his brother just wants to stab him. Wonder what happened there....
