Winner was really not doing good fan base wise after all comeback delays and lack of activities and such, YG knew that dragging things further would mean a bigger split and would affect the rest of the guys as well and well.. SM's known to hold on with teeth and claws. He probably got offered to a buy out clause, or at least that's my way of seeing it. Hope both he and Winner do well.
