Hey, I just discovered Jinyoung x Hyunsoo song because it popped in my YT recommendations and what kind of freaking summery bop?? I'm literally obsessed with the song and I've been looping it since yesterday. And they're sooooo cute omg. Their chemistry is insane. Are they gonna be part of a group or only a duo?

 

I didn't know they were from the same company than Dreamcatcher btw :O

YAS. I'm glad you loved the song!! It's so catchy! They're so charismatic, too. Their live performances of it have just been so refreshing to watch. 

 

They'll be part of a group. There's actually 10 potential members for the final group (though I'm almost certain that Hyunsoo and Jinyoung, alongside Park Woodam are already confirmed for the group anyway.) They're having fan meetings twice a month where they perform covers and interact with fans. The members of the final group are supposed to be selected by fans through voting. I want all 10 of them to debut, to be honest, hehe. 

 

And yeah! I think it's because during Produce 101 last year, where 4 of them participated, they went as HF Music Company, which is Happyface's subsidiary label, so people didn't really know they were technically from Happyface until MIXNINE where they went as Happyface trainees. 

 

10 members?? Wow, I'm probably gonna stan because contrary to a lot of people here I love big groups (like 7 members and up). Where can I see the profile of the others?

 

I also watched JxH performances in Mcountdown and MuBank and they're seriously so charismatic and cute. I think their group will definitely be popular if HF plays their cards well.

I've just updated the OP (still working on it, though) with all the current members. I was trying to see if anyone had made a thread on Twitter with all the members' info but I can't find one right now T.T 

 

Yessss, hopefully HF is ready to put their all into this group. They've done such a spectacular job with Dreamcatcher that I think they could do just as well with HNB. HNB already have an advantage anyway - some of the members are somewhat well known, from survival shows and what not, they already have a bit of a fan base. HF just needs to...not screw it up. 

 

Dreamcatcher still hasn't had a hit or breakout song in Korea though, no? Correct me if I'm wrong. But at least they've managed to grab a decent fandom, especially internationally. But like you said, these boys have the advantage of being in survival shows (esp pd101 that's super popular).

 

I'm surprised at so many 95 liners btw. Groups debuting nowadays are mostly 97/98~01/02 so it's refreshing to see a group with a bit older members.
