D1CE (디원스; stylized as D1CE; pronounced as "D Once") is a South Korean boy group formed by D1CE Entertainment, a subsidiary of Happy Face Entertainment. The group consists of five members: Jo Yonggeun, Kim Hyunsoo, Jung Yoojun, Park Woodam and Woo Jinyoung. They debuted on August 1, 2019 with the EP Wake Up: Roll The World, with Wake up serving as the title track.
 

Jung Yoojun (née Choi Minhwan) was a contestant in the Mnet survival series Boys24 in 2016, and became a member of the pre-debut survival team Unit Blue.

Park Woodam, Woo Jinyoung, Jo Yonggeun participated in the Mnet survival series Produce 101 Season 2 in 2017 under Happy Face sub-label HF Music Company. Woodam, Jinyoung and Yonggeun placed 35th, 40th and 93rd respectively.

Park Woodam, Woo Jinyoung, Jo Yonggeun, Kim Hyunsoo and other Happy Face trainees participated in the JTBC survival series Mix Nine in September 2017.Jinyoung placed 1st, becoming a member of the winning group. However the group's debut was cancelled after unsuccessful contract negotiation between the show's agency and the winning contestants' respective agencies.Hyunsoo and Yonggeun placed 14th, 25th respectively.

All the members were previously introduced as a pre-debut team known as HNB (Happy Face Next Boys) and released several songs as units or duo since 2017.

In March 2019, Happy Face Entertainment confirmed the five members that were to debut in the group and set up a subsidiary, D1CE Entertainment that would handle the group’s activities. A poll was set up for fans to vote on the name of the group and D1CE was the winning choice.

Btw I don't think Woodam will be in the top22, and if he does he won't debut with male IOI anyway ;; so the group might debut during the summer?
