So you all know Yuehua has predebut trainees in China they will be debuting in the future called the YH boys

And Yuehua sent one of their younger Chinese trainees Justin (2002 line) to Produce 101

So some fans have been contemplating about the possibilities in the future once the YH Boys start becoming teens

Justin is literally 1.80m. how is he going to go in a group of (adorable) babies that are max 1.55m and like are 2-5 years younger than him when he's already young? Talk about totally not fitting in. And he also probably never practiced with him or anything and will fit more with the other boys he joined pd101 with

Justin's voice is way too deep compared to the other boys'. It wouldn't work in a song.

 

And he's already done the whole lip biting, winking, ab flashing routine + Shape of You on P101. So reverting back to childlike, juvenile concepts would be weird.

he's too old for YH Boys, who are like 10-12 and their concepts are more kiddish. 

 

he'll be in the other boy group - most likely with his PD101 cohorts Jung Jung, Hyeongseop, Euiwoong etc 

 

YH has like 100 trainees to choose from that can be added into Justin's group.

YHBoys are 10-12, Justin is 16. He doesn't fit their image at all.

 

TFboys are all growing up, they're 16/17 now and YHBoys are clearly being marketed to fill the tween gap that's about to become available.

 

Yuehua have a lot of other trainees, so I'm sure Justin and Jung Jung will both debut soon in another group, hopefully alongside Euiwoong and Hyungseop

Besides Justin being an obvious visual black sheep in a group like this, the concept is just not something he'd shine in at this point. Even looking at his Replay fancam versus Shape of You there's something inexplicably awkward with his image in Replay. He's young, but ultra cutie-boy isn't really the best direction for him right now imo.

 

What I think if Justin joining YH Boys.



Maybe it is better to wait for 1 to 2 years so the YH boys will grow a bit and the age gap not look too prevalent.

The whole point of YH Boys it to compete with TF Boys. Justin doesn't fit that image or age group.

He's better of debuting with Jungx2, Hyungseop, and Euiwoong 

 

Yeah. Justin doesn't fit that image. Also YHBOYS competing with TFBOYS? Is this like a joke? Because YHBOYS aren;t a threat to TFBOYS. lol.
