3. [+1,730, -42] It must not have been easy to decide to announce this but he was worried other misunderstandings might arise... I hope he recovers and we'll see him in a drama!

4. [+75, -1] Who has the power to will cancer on themselves just to get out of the army ã…¡ã…¡ direct that hate towards people who act like they have mental illnesses just to get an exemption

5. [+29, -2] How dumb do you have to be to think someone would get radiation therapy just because they don't want to serve in the army;;;; please use your heads before writing comments....

Isn't that a very rare/bad cancer I heard they usually live for only 5 years after diagnosed v.v

or is that another kind of cancer

what? don't say that, I'm not his fan but I really hope he'll be okay rlytearpls.png . There's so much illness going with korean male actors from Yoo Ah In to Jung Il Woo then to Kim Woo Bin. I was glad that Shin Dong Wook is doing well right now and has recently made a comeback.

I pray he has a speedy recovery and returns to full health as soon as possible!

Cancer at any point in any form is scary so I also pray for his loved ones who will stand by him while he goes through with treatment. This will be a rough time for him and his close loved ones, so they need all the positive support they can get.

The rest of y'all better be sending him some good vibes, since some asshat knetz seem to be total douchebags bringing the army into this...

5 year relative survival rate in the U.S. is around 72% so not too bad. Somewhere in the middle. I think leukemia has like 60%

nasopharyngeal cancer is rare, yes, but it's not untreatable, especially if caught early. And the 5-year survival rate refers to the percentage of people who live at least 5 years after their cancer is diagnosed, it doesn't mean they die within 5 years after they get diagnosed.

People who have stages 1-3 of the cancer have a high chance of surviving those 5 years more than people who have stage 4 of the cancer, especially since at stage 4 the cancer has progressed so much. Hopefully Woo Bin's cancer is just at stage I and that the treatments will stop it from becoming a stage 2.
