Please help... What should I do?

I've been lurking on OH for years, mostly reading posts and updating news, but now I've decided to make an account just because I'm having this serious mental problem.

I'm a fan of BTS (even though I won't admit I'm an ARMY) and my ultimate bias is Jungkook. In the past I just loved BTS as a whole group and I didn't care too much about my bias, but recently I've developed an obsession with him. Everytime I watched BTS's MV and shows, I kept paying attention to Jungkook. My eyes can't leave him. Yes I know this happens to everyone, but in my case it's just something... in a more serious way. It's more than having a crush on him. Now everytime I see BTS, I feel scared because I'm afraid of seeing Jungkook, that makes me feel depressed so much. It's weird that it never happened before, even though I've been a fan for years.

So I tried watching other groups (mostly the groups I already knew) to relieve my stress, and yes I tried to find my new bias too, but in the end my mind just came back to Jungkook. I tried to find awkward moments of him to trick my mind that he's not perfect, but everything was still the same in my mind. Going out, playing video games, talking to my friends,... didn't help much either.....

Also, it's only about celebrity obsession, but also my addiction to Kpop. Since then, I kept watching Kpop for hours, especially weekly idols and other variety shows. I spend like 3 hours watching them and then 2 hours lurking on OH everyday. I thought I should take a break from kpop for a while, but I just, couldn't. It's weird that the more I watch Kpop, the more relieve I feel. but the more I'm involved to this stuff, the more obsessed I get too. It's like a stupid loop that has no end...

What should I do now? get banned from Kpop, or keep watching Kpop? or something else?

I'd appreciate any advice here.

Is something stressful going on in your life? With school or family or work or friends or money or health, etc? Is the only way you can stop thinking about or stressing over this event, to think about kpop instead? It is quite common to replace one stress with an obsession about something else.

No, nothing's stressful in my life. I'm still a Kpop fan like I've been for years, but Idk why I became like this. I really wanted to be like I was before - a healthy Kpop fan

Yeah... that level of obsession is kinda... iffy.

Idk what to tell you other than find something else to do and restrict the amount of Kpop stuff you watch.

Also, it could possibly be a prolonged phase. I used to be REALLY into kpop and it was actually really cringy but like 4 years later I'm super casual and don't really pay too much attention to kpop outside my bias group.

Anyways, find strength OP, you'll get over it! ~~
