Pharrell Williams, 41 years old, two albums as a solo artist, has a band and he's composed many songs from other artists (f. ex. Twisted from Usher)

 

Okay, he was nominated to Best Original Song with his chart slayer track Happy (from the flick Despicable Me 2) and even if he's lost against Let It Go, one can't deny that this man will keep producing new juicy stuff. Just yesterday, 3rd of March, he's released his first album in 8 years, G I R L, which is proclaimed by himself as a celebration of the female and received some good reviews here and there. Before that, In My Mind was his first album.

 

While In My Mind was more hip hop (featuring artists from the genre such as God in Earth Kanye West and his pirate matey Don Jay Z), G I R L is almost all singing. Both albums showcase the versatility in both genres. C'mon, in G I R L's Marilyn Monroe he's managed to snatch Hans Zimmer. And Miley Cyrus in his "make love is like riding a motorbike metaphor" called Come Get it Bae (Not your Suzy from Miss A) >:D

I honestly don't remember any of his works, except for his collabs with Uffie and Azealia.
