Yeah same here.  Could you imagine Germany making a "torture porn" about the Holocaust? that would cause a global outrage if Germany did that.  and it get disturbing I saw this from Jake Adelstein (he's a famous reporter in Japan) and it looks like they're whitewashing history again but it's about the atrocities in Okinawa:

Japan didn't produce this movie, some japanese people did. Same way Germany didn't produce KZ porn, but some germans (and people in other countries have too) did.

 

If there is something you consider a tabboo, don't ever do a porn search on it, cause you will find something...

I know Japan didn't produce this film, but it still offensive and the Japanese government can indirectly promote this film (whether by accident of intentional).  My biggest concern is that regarding to the topic of comfort Women, and Japan's historical whitewashing, I saw this from Vox:
