NU'EST was actually properly promoted by Pledis?

1.jpg

1) NU'EST's debut song 'Face' has higher Youtube views than EXO's debut song 'MAMA'
They also have more music videos with +10M views like 'Action' and 'Hello'.

2.jpg

2) They released albums every year and there was barely any hiatus between.

3.jpg

3) They released two single albums and one full album in Japan. Their sales were even #1 once. Their mini album also sold around 30K.

4) They were a #1 nominee on a music show.

4.jpg

5) They had three reality shows.

6) They were on Idol Athletic Championship four times.

7) They were on Weekly Idol and V app.

Pann: Facts on NU'EST

1. [+121, -29] It's true that NU'EST fans went around and talked as if NU'EST flopped hard because of Pledis' crappy management. The truth is that the company promoted the group a lot and they didn't flop as much. Why should this post be criticized? Their fans are the ones acting mad. It's not like we're telling people not to vote for NU'EST and the group isn't as unfortunate as people think.

2. [+110, -22] Just like how the fans made people sympathize for the group, we also have the right to know the facts. We can't just be reading posts bashing Pledis. The company also promoted group like this but the fans don't want to admit it ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ That's why posts like this surface. Does it have to be either sympathizing NU'EST or a hate post? So funny.

3. [+102, -23] There isn't anything that the group didn't do. Anybody can tell that they've done various things, it's pathetic how the fans are denying it. No one would even talk about this if the fans just admitted it.

4. [+48, -3] Honestly, Jonghyun is my bias trainee and I also support other NU'EST members, but all of it is true. Just move on and ignore this post if you want to be in denial. I honestly admit that NU'EST's participation is unfair... But I'll still vote for them.

5. [+48, -41] People didn't even know about NU'EST in the past and now you're claiming that they were already famous ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ You didn't even know them. You found this information by searching up... I know you're being defensive because NU'EST's screen time takes away the chance of your trainee debuting ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ You should stop. The members are desperate and working hard. Aren't you just being jealous since NU'EST can just promote as a group after PD101 ends?

6. [+48, -40] Honestly, the company did enough promotions for the group. Didn't they flop because they couldn't live up to it?

7. [+38, -12] They promoted more than my favorite singer.

8. [+34, -16] Since when did Produce 101 become a show to revive flopped groups?

Everybody knows Pledis f_ _k them up

NU'EST should not go to Japan and China during 2013

Instead,Pledis should have promoted them more in that time

And we all know Pledis sucked during 2012-2015

Things went better until SEVENTEEN found their fame in 2016

NU'EST is very underrated

They didn't release an album in 2015, if I remember correctly, they released good bye bye in 2014, and then overcome in 2016 (they did digtal singles in 2015, but they didn't do too well). And even if they did, you can see the amount of views on YouTube drop, as well as charting positions. Some of their title tracks didn't even chart in Korea,

A lot of songs doesn't necessarily equal good promotions.

This video explains it a bit more (but it is long, and not the whole thing is about their songs)

Yes they had many comebacks + even last year they had great expensive MVs and 2 comebacks

They had so much chances

It is a disgrace what is happening to poor trainees (who participated to battle other TRAINEES) on the show, like
I think my guess Pledis did some payola from the start, the pity party and them shown crying for the 1st few episodes

Then their "OMGGG RISEE" moment

I am not stupid and NOT buying it, others deserve this more

Not all groups will be successful and NUEST should deal with it, endless nugu's flop ever year
with quarter the support from their companies and most are mad talented too

Stop this brain-washing

It's a mix of both i think.

Pledis screwed it up when they sent them to China and Japan

Fans screwed it up by letting them flop very hard on overcome and love paint era.

I don't think i could blame the boys because overall they have tried their hardest but luck is not on their side (wrong song selection, tacky concept, etc)

1. FACE didn't blow up, it gained traction. Secondly, they weren't even nominated for MAMA despite that and Jonghyun blamed himself and apologized to the fans too. Also why aren't you talking about views for their latest release? Isn't it obvious that they've suffered a significant drop? Also, yall just admit it, you guys don't even know FACE and Hello was sung by NU'EST until now, knetz

2. They released Good Bye Bye in 2014 AFTER a 1.5 year 'hiatus' from Sleeptalking due to Japanese/Chinese promos. I'm Bad is an anniversary single (2 songs) that they didn't promote in 2015. Q is. is dropped 1.5 year after GBB in 2016 because they fought for the release. Fancafe staff said it might be their last album, and Jonghyun promised fans that they will do whatever it takes to negotiate another release, which was CANVAS in the same year, but it ended up being their last album. Idk what world OP lived in, but '3 years' = barely any hiatus was something new to me.

3. Which mini album? Their highest sales was 18k so far, and the full japanese album in Japan. Which, btw was the reason why they have dropping fandom cause they actually promoted in Japan and not Korea. + they had to leave GBB promotions in the 3rd week cause Sony Japan pulled JRen to Japan for a pre-debut promo 'tour'

4. Yeah, SBS MTV The Show, the only program that allowed ifans to participate in streaming and fund raising for paid votes.

5. Out of which, Latin Dream Show is not a reality by the way, OP. It was a special documentary by MBC Music. While MTV Diaries was shown on air (cable tv in SBS MTV, which is not the same as SBS btw) as well as Landing Operations, Private Life is shown on an MBC Music ONLINE platform. Plus, the reason they got that was probably much thanks to Park Sohyun.

6. Yeah, they were. So? They only ever participated in the 60m race cause they're too unpopular for the others. Thanks to pledis however for promoting them there imstupid.png

7. Both times on Weekly Idol was with a fellow group; Hello Venus has since been on WI on their own, as with Fiestar while NU'EST had no WI appearances after 2014. A lot of smaller groups have Vapp too. Isn't it the same as hating on NU'EST because they were from Pledis now?

----

Facts? Please, these facts are taken out of context to dislike the group. If you dislike them, because they took away your fave's screentime or suddenly 3/4 are in the top 11 and your fave dropped, it's fine. But trying to brainwash others with these not all truthful facts is a pain to read. 0u0plz.png

pledis had no money even around 2014 they said they had nothing left and company is not doing so well that was even on news pledis sent nu'est to japan and we all know even when big three sent their groups to japan those groups lose some in korea . pledis sent them without warning plus you say promotion if you compare seventeen's promotion to nu'est's promotion in their second year pledis done nothing for nu'est . and yeah most of the fans left and you salty ass netizens are talking about good promotion. only their 1st year which mean debute area had a proper promotion.

Ah sad but not surprised seeing this post popped up. It's expected, and I'm guessing more negative posts will circulate the closer they get to the last episode. Tbh I don't blame the company either, but I can only blame myself for sleeping on them for so long and not listening to them earlier before Produce 101. They're amazing.

It's easier to put the blame of group flopping on the company instead of their bias.

Pretty much

True.

Also, Nu'est has several times stated that produce 101 is their last chance, and if they don't do well, they'll disband. They probably didn't really have a choice to go there (unless they wanted to disband), and they are probably just as desperate (if not more) than the rest of the trainees on the show.

I don't think that its an Band fault that Pledis send them off to Japan/China FOR YEARS,  I don't think that its Band fault that a) a new member was being add and b) whom fans hated and didn't accept and who left as suddenly as he came, I don't think its Band fault that they had success in Japan while being under another company there while in Korea under Pledis barely someone knew their name.

So maybe.. yeah, maybe it do have smg to do with the company and even not with the Group. And Nuest can have success if promoted right. The other company managed, so why can't Pledis. Instead Pledis canceled Aarons radio show, which was the last sail of even a bit call out Nuest name in the world. And than ppl rlly dare to say it wasn't Pledis fucking them up? Where was the promo? Where was 100 articles on never and media play? Where was posters and radio and TV shows with them? Where? If u put out a single, but no one knows abt, u can't sell it this well.

OP was being denial. She posted only what fit in her jealous story, but forgot to post the true tea rest.

You forgot to mention Nu'est-M. Pledis shipped them off to China at the back end of 2013, gained another member (Jason), released Face and Sleepwalking (?) in chinese, lost the member when the Pledis-Yuehua partnership dissolved.

It also probably didn't help them that B.A.P gained traction and became popular, followed shortly after by the behemoth that was and still is EXO.

The year SVT made their debut (2015), resources were pooled towards them instead of NU'EST. NU'EST's SNS went on a complete blank out (you can scroll through their FB and Twitter to check, and see how many posts NU'EST had in the whole of 2015 compared to 2014). Here are some quick examples.

  • the inconsistent updates on twitter & facebook, where sometimes updates would take place on one and not the other. youtube videos too, are sometimes posted without linking to either platforms.
  • NU'EST 2nd Europe tour had completely no news on the official NUESTNEWS twitter. In 2014, the twitter promoted the tour so fans knew + updated the twitter with photos every other day so fans knew what's up. In 2015, the only updates came from the boys' personal instagrams.
  • the lack of promotion of the boys’ overseas schedules, and fans have raised the issue that they did not even know the boys are going to their country. In fact, they only announce that they're going to xx place the day before and fans could not even prepare any support.
  • because we all love some numbers: 23 total posts on korean fb for the year of 2015 with: 2 administrative notice, 1 promoting bumzu’s good life + 39 total posts on twitter, with last update is aron on join us korea in oct (not on fb), 2 notices on pledis new address, no promotions of toronto event and no mention of mymusictaste re:vive tour

if you want to read, there's a super lengthy post here.

You forgot to mention Nu'est-M. Pledis shipped them off to China at the back end of 2013, gained another member (Jason), released Face and Sleepwalking (?) in chinese, lost the member when the Pledis-Yuehua partnership dissolved.

I wrote it in their Japanese/Chinese promotions ; u ; Pledis-yuehua partnership did not dissolve though, NANA and NU'EST are still signed under Yuehua for Chinese-related promotions, but Jason left Yuehua so NU'EST-M was pretty much done.

more songs =/= good management..... Nu'est was sent to china and japan when they didn't have a solid fanbase in korea... they came back and they started to do very poorly.... like wonder girls when they went to USA.....

people be salty because nu'est members are raising and not because they have fans... they are getting fans bcs they're doing amazing in the show even with the evil editing on dongho

JR, great leadership and awesome rapper/dancer

Minhyun , CEO minhyun, great vocalist/dancer

Dongho, Main vocal material

Minki, he's not being showcased , not even when he got 4th place

But, i know i will see more of these kind of posts around internet, nu'est is finally being recognized.

and about not being fair i don't think it's unfair. And i also support HOTSHOT members, OFFROAD members, theEASTLIGHT member( lil woojin), jjcc members, toppdogg member who are also participating in the show.. and i hope that they don't get any hate like nu'est is getting.
