After the MC asked, "What was BTS like?" the friend said ì •ì´ ë˜‘ 떨어졌어 like a half second before Hyeongeun said it. So even though Hyeongeun said that she (Hyeongeun) was joking, she clearly had made that statement before to her friend given that they said "got disgusted/lost interest" at the same time after the MC asked the question. And then when the MC mentioned V, to me, it seemed like the friend was about to say, "V is the one she got disgusted/lost interest in" but it could also be "Before, V..." before she got cut off. And then proceeded to tell the dancing/athlete's foot/slippers story. 

 

The way they said 정떨어졌어 was kinda snarky, they didn't use honorifics, they lowkey mean-girls laughed about it, and the friend proceeded to tell her grossed-out-by-V story, so I can see why K-fans got upset. I didn't read through all the comments but some of the subtleties were lost in the original post. 

 

1.  HE didn't say that she "lost interest in them".   정떨어지다  is really more like, visceral distate.  It's kind of like "I found them really distasteful"... maybe even a bit stronger than that.

 

2.  It seems very fake, that she would be smiley and say she likes them, seconds later, just because the male BJ warns her of backlash.

 

3.  It's really not nice that they're all treating the ARMY like we're some kind of scary unreasonable beings...and almost like playing their victims complex.

 

4.  The other female BJ was talking about the athlete's foot, but she was taking about it based on what HE probably told her.  Especially since the BJ would not have been there at that practice, only HE.   The BJ didn't say she's saying what she feels.  She said, "She (HE) is just saying what she feels.  She met them in the waiting room.  They dance so hard, right?  As if he had athlete's foot, he was wearing slippers...."

 

I hate messes, but really, this was not a wise move on any of their part.

Said this on the other thread but they should've known better. Bangtan atm aren't just any senior group. They're your seniors by miles both in years and status. So yea, they got into this mess by themselves. I have no pity for them.

 

And people trying to make it a point to trash BTS or ARMY, keep it.

like he has infections on feet etc. idk about calluses, but all other trans i've seen seems to imply athlete's feet
