How early do you drop dramas that gets boring to you along the way?

One. Most shows should make a good first impression, no matter how slow or fast the pace is. If I make it past episode one, I stick around until the fifth and see if it's really my style. It's rare for me to drop a show in the five episodes because if I do it means that I don't like where the show is heading and that the first five episodes weren't enough to make me continue.

The first episode is important for me. If it's boring and doesn't give me the feeling "i really wanna see what will happen", it will be game over. Sometimes i watch couple more episodes which is usually because i like the actor but that's it. If the first episode isn't capticating, usually the rest of the drama wont be too

I've dropped very few dramas compared to the number that I've completed.

My earliest is 2 episodes of Imaginary Cat (only 8 episodes long). I realized it wasn't very interesting.

Looking at my list (http://mydramalist.com/dramalist/Tee) the only drama I've dropped for straight up disliking is God of Study. I made it 6 episodes in. To me it felt like elementary school kids trying to get into high school instead of high school students trying to get into college.

Do you watch the trailers and read the synopsis before you watch a drama? It helps you get past bad dramas like that. Some highly rated dramas have pretty boring summaries for me and I steer clear from them.

I've dropped around 5 dramas but it's cause they get too long...and I don't have enough time to finish them and I just end up forgetting about it.

i think ur issue is ur watching mostly kdrama. watch some cdrama.. that aside i only dropped maybe 2 dramas. im very picky when i pick a drama to watch

I'm also very picky. I either start a drama based on storyline or if I like the actor/actress. I used to watch a lot of Chinese dramas but nowadays they only have those historical ones I'm not really into. I watch a lot of Thai dramas too.

Something I don't understand with k-drama is that when it get serious, whether it be the relationship (when they finally get together) or when the past of the characters are revealed it gets boring while it should be the opposite. Some good drama are balanced and interesting until the end but it's rare to me so I usually drop it beetween ep 7 and 11 it depends

You betcha I watch all the trailers and teasers before starting a drama. I get hyped and excited for a drama expecting a lot and then later on, it just gets kinda slow and boring until I can't take no more.

Hwarang was so bad but I watched it till the end bcz of Hyungshik .

That , Moon Lovers : Scarlet Heart , The Heirs and Legend Of The Blue Sea are the only ones I've watched till the end and I've dropped like 10 dramas by 2nd or 3rd episode .

moon lovers is bad. the chinese original is way better. the only saving grace the korean version have are the younger and hotter actors/actresses. the heirs is a trainwreck. lotbs is the best. i'm very sad it didn't receive the amount of love goblin got. it's a pretty solid drama imo.
