"Simone Biles and dancing partner Sasha Farber survived another week of eliminations on "Dancing With the Stars," but it didn't come without controversy. "I don't know if the smile is authentic. I want to see rawness come out," judge Julianne Hough told her after her first dance. Some of the judges and host, Tom Bergeron, also chastised the 20-year-old Olympian over her smile during her performances. The Twittersphere exploded after Biles shot back, "Smiling doesn't win you gold medals," with everyone rushing to her side."

Mixed feelings. The judges  never told her to fake a smile, but they wanted a true smile in her performance, and not a rehearsed smile which they even said during the show. Saw all this twitter stuff, most of them doesn't even know the whole story or even watched the show. In which now all this twitter stuff, is being twisted and making it seem as if the judges told her to fake a smile, which they didn't. Leave it to our uninformed generation of 12 years old to tweet something before they actually do the research.

I think there is a difference between being primary an athlete and being dancer, singer etc

Majority of athletes have resting bitch face because they have to concentrate, while singers, dancers need to hype the crowd.

Never was a DWTS fan and I'm only watching for the first time for Normani but the show and audiences have been showing off their micro-racist asses for weeks and honestly I want her, Rashad and Simone to go to the finals. I want their trump voting demographic to seethe.
