Hello lovely OH citizens!




Haru and Sunnydumplings of the Events Team are here to introduce the Card Counter Tournament.

This game is a card counting game, based and modified on the real life game 'Counting to 21'. There will be 3 main rounds: Starter, Preliminary and Final. Players will be in 5 teams of 3. In the starter round, there will be 3 smaller rounds.


Who plays these rounds will be determined by the GMs, randomised using RANDOM.ORG. A game board will be posted for players to keep easy track of when they're playing and who they're playing. We will also randomise the posting order.



Before each round starts, a troll card will be introduced, which will be a certain number. The aim of the game is to not land on having to post the troll card. Players will be put in an order to post in when it is their round. For example, who goes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th when posting. Once it is their turn, a player is to post a minimum of 1 card, 2 cards, or the maximum of 3. These cards will be just regular numbers. This game is about strategy, players must think of a way that will not have them land on the troll card, because if they land on the troll card, they are eliminated.


As mentioned, this is a modified version of Counting to 21. Instead of 21 being the number that has you win, the troll card is the card that has you lose.


We will start with 15 players. In the starter rounds, only 1 troll card will be introduced, eliminating 1 player from each round, leaving us with 12. In the preliminary rounds, 2 troll cards will be introduced, eliminating another 2 players from each round, leaving us with 6. In the finals, 5 troll cards will be introduced, the winner will be the last player standing, and whichever team they represented will win the prize!

@all please be aware that if you sign up and do not come on the day to play you will be disqualified from playing any of my games for 2 weeks

 

please add Tilde as well to Team D, but RED may or may not have to sub out, she'll let us and you know and we'll get a replacement for her ^^
