The digital score is 55% while the physical score is only 5%? That seems rather unbalanced

1) not sure why some music shows incorporate album sales at all if it's a song that is nominated, not the album

2) points wise, you can actually still score more with physical than with digital. that's because a high selling physical album might grab 80% of the all physical sales for the week whereas a high selling digital song is still probably only 10-20% of all digital songs sold for that week. it's kind of hard to explain..... but you have to think in percentages and proportions of the market.

so true

40% digital, 40% physical 10% sns 10% viewer votes would be perfect and fair

that would heavily (and artificially) weigh physical sales because in any given week there are only like 5-10 albums selling any significant number, whereas there are 50+ digital songs doing significant downloads/streams. so someone could be 80% of all physical albums sold for the week (therefore 80% of 40% of max points) but digitally it's hard to even claim 20% of all digital downloads/streams (20% x 40% of max points).

even music shows that decrease physical to 5% basically weigh it the same points-wise as digital.

edit// what i've learned from this thread is that there are some people who really dislike/don't understand basic math lol

I think with inkigayo you can score maximum 500 points for physicals no matter how huge the physicals are.So yeah inki gives more importance to digitals.Your 2 point applies to Music bank system where it's by % etc.

But in the end different music shows favour different things while some favour physical sales others favour digitals. It wouldn't be fun if all had the same criteria.Don't know why some people still cry about this.

1/3 of people around the world who saw IU falling down to a nugu will watch or learn about it.Face the picture - all of her subsequent wins from this round is not relevant since the world will never learn about it
