I could name a lot of solo Western artists who can't sing live to save their lives and are still successful & loved. Why are kpop fans so against it? If you hate the idol, don't buy the album. I never seen people bash idols who are talented and capable to go solo, in fact they were highly supported, while i did see people be against idols who aren't really capable enough to go solo and personally i don't see anything wrong with that type of criticism, for the latter of course.
