Biggest K-Pop Conspiracy of 2017

The two kings of concepts, VIXX and CROSS GENE have been looming behind the scenes creating a most disastrous, but not unforeseeable plan. 

 

It's clear that the two groups and their companies (Jellyfish Entertainment and Amuse Korea respectively) are in a coalition that has some dire consequences for the Korean pop industry.

 

It should be noted that the two groups debuted 2 weeks apart. 

 

Let us look at the meaning behind the groups' names as our first case of speculation.

 

VIXX - "Voice, Visual, Value in Excelsis [Latin word for highest degree]"

 

 

CROSS GENE - "Cross the superior genes of each country to create one perfect group"

 

Color coded are the parallels in the two descriptions, which don't take a genius to figure out. It's quite amusing that Jellyfish and Amuse attempted to cover for VIXX's description with a Latin word, so it would be all the more hidden. But of course, it's easily seen through (quite literally, look at the two undershirts, ladies and gents, both debut era group photos, FYI).

 

Leaders of the groups are [stylized as] SHIN and N. Shin's name in Korean literally means God, and N's name derives from Inyeon, meaning fate in Korean. And who decides fate to many...

The groups' first lyrics sung/rapped were by the group's rappers Sangmin & Ravi in La-di Da-di and Super Hero respectively.

What are these two groups known for (other than having 6 members)?

 

VIXX - Dark, creepy and bloody concepts

CROSS GENE - East Asian fusion concepts

Now all seems well and good... until you realize that in 2017 the two have faced quite a conundrum. 

 

VIXX's latest album is called "Paradise on Earth"

 

 

CROSS GENE's (released in February) is called "MIRROR"

 

 

Black or White is the name of the bloody and dark MV, filled with a Greek backstory to top it off (how not very familiar at all)

 

 

The roles in 2017 seem to have reversed. But if we look into this deeper, we'll find that in 2016 YING YANG seems to have been mirroring Jekyll & Hyde (2013).

 

 

 

And yet, in 2016 VIXX served us this, a few months after CROSS GENE's Noona You, an upbeat retro track, Dynamite...

And if we rewind even more, we can see that VIXX and CROSS GENE both have a knack at crazy makeup (and hair).

 

 

 

 

Preposterous. 

 

 

They also have a thing for scaring the masses with the most dreadful thing in the world after these groups themselves: math (with a sprinkle of hypnosis).

This thread could continue for Eternity but it's clear that CROSS VIXX have brought us into a state of guessing whether an AI cyborg-human clash is more probable from an MV

Either way you look at it, Amuse & Jellyfish have a clear-cut method to ensure the public is in their grasps and that these 12 men dominate the industry while awakening their inner demons. Slowly but surely the rise of the inner devils we foster shall be realized and CROSS VIXX will gain supremacy in all matters of the world. May the world keep us safe from such unruly and disastrous events. They have no mercy, with smiles on their faces and all.

Lol, I love this conspiracy with 2 talented groups. I'm glad people started to notice a lot Vixx since 2015-2016. Cross Gene also deserves to be recognized a little more since they deserve it and they last concept should have been everywhere :o

CROSS GENE's Black or White was their most successful comeback to date. They sold 4x as much as their previous mini albums, which says a lot. Also their most viewed MV ^^
