Juliette 812
I'm a fan since 2011 and I remember kpop being way more interesting back then. Since all my favorite groups are disbanding, each year I have less and less groups to look forward in the future. And honestly, the majority of new groups just don't do it for me. What do you think? Lil Ayy Big Gay 8,172
Yes. Most of the new groups suck and don't appeal to me. I do like Dreamcatcher, though.
Habu Mizuho 76
Yeah, even though I don't stan the same groups I used to.
MineMuses 6,687
though I've only listened to kpop since 2014 yeah I kinda agree I remember when I first discovered kpop there were a lot of groups with more mature concepts promoting I miss the mature concepts since girl groups pretty much only do cute. Now, even the groups I disliked in the past I now like because they're some of the few surviving groups left who still do sexy concepts.

pinkeuphoria 1,785
I've been listening to kpop since 2007 and I still enjoy it a lot now. There are a lot of new-gen groups I enjoy, just like with the second generation. I honestly don't find it any less interesting, it's just changing like any other industry. Sergeant_Im 1,249
i have been around since 2009 the main difference now and then is that there is actually more talented idols but shittier promotion especially smaller companies half-assing their talents' capability with shitty generic dance music. Kyzara 986
Fan from 2011. I wouldn't say boring, I would say a little different. I have a little trouble keeping up with the many good songs, but it doesn't last as long (except for groups I stan). I also kinda miss the collabs and fun between groups from early 2010s that we barely see anymore since there's so many idols now.

LunyEyes 711
not really. i move on when a group disbands, sure it sucks but it needs to happen eventually. plus k-pop is always evolving and changing, watching the rise of the new generation happen last year was the most interesting thing i've witnessed in k-pop since getting into it
