I watched the Chinese version of Take Care of My Refrigerator where the MC found some NR sheet masks in her fridge. She recommended the masks not because she was the spokesperson but because of the good quality.

I remember when I saw the second set of NR promotional photos of Taeyeon, I felt so horrible and was like, 'wtf is wrong with that makeup artist and stylist!?'. It's so unnatural makeup for a brand like NR. I'm glad that Taeyeon's with Banila co. which seems to treat her very well compared to shady NR.

eh Nature Republic is more known for their skincare than their makeup, anyway. The only skincare products that Banila Co. is widely known/popular for are their Clean It Zero cleanser and Miss Flower and Mr Honey Cream. So NR > Banila Co. in terms of skincare.

She didn't drop NR, her contract expired, that;s all.

 

of course, knowing her contract will expire , she took in consideration other opportunities.
